This wonderful 2 story Smoky Mountain log cabin sleeps 10 and has breathtaking views, plenty of room and all the amenities you could want. Kodiak Cabin has everything you could ask for when bringing your family or group to Tennessee for a Smoky Mountain Vacation!
As you drive up to Kodiak Cabin, you will be immediately impressed by the beautiful mountain views. Once inside, you will be in awe when you gaze upon the beauty of the etched glass window which depicts a Kodiak bear. You will also be amazed at all of the other windows in this cabin as you look out at the Beautiful Smoky Mountains.
As you enter the spacious living room of the cabin you are drawn to the river rock corner fireplace which extends to the ceiling and the two walls with glass to the eve of the house. Here you see that there is another beautiful window with an etched bear scene. The living room is a great place for the whole family or group to gather and watch TV on the big screen with Direct TV satellite service or use the DVD/VCR in the home theater. From the comfy rocking recliner in the living room, you can sit back and bask in the afternoon sun. The sofa is not only comfortable, it also easily turns into a sleeper for 2.
Inside the cabin you will find a large fully equipped kitchen with an open design and full size appliances ready to prepare any meal and a dishwasher and double sink to make cleanup a snap.This beautiful kitchen has an island for additional counter space and a pass through to the dining area where there is a table with 8 chairs and incredible view of the mountains. There is even additional seating at the bar which is the perfect place to enjoy a quick snack.
Kodiak's wrap around deck offers several log rockers that you can enjoy while taking in the beautiful mountain views - Don't forget to grab your swimsuit and slip into the hot tub that is waiting for you after a long day of activites. After relaxing and taking in the fresh mountain air for a while you can cook up dinner on the grill and enjoy it while sitting at the log picnic table.
Kodiak Cabin has a game room that overlooks the downstairs level and has windows so that you can enjoy some more amazing views of the Smoky Mountains.
The main floor of this cabin has a stunning master bedroom with a king bed that includes a beautiful quilt reminiscent of the mountains. On the same level the living room has a sleeper sofa for additional sleeping. Upstairs you will find two bedrooms. In the first bedroom you will find vaulted ceilings with large windows and two queen beds. The second bedroom has a king bed and more beautiful Smoky Mountain decor . All of the furniture in the bedrooms is made of Smoky Mountain Log Furniture. This cabin comfortably sleeps 10 guests.
Be sure to visit the Great Smoky Mountains National Park nearby as well a one of the Visitor Centers where you can buy memorabilia, maps, get inside information as to park activities and more! Plan a day to hike, picnic, go horseback riding, bike riding, or drive on one of the parks motor trails. Cades Cove, Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail, Foothills Parkway as well as many other wonderful places are waiting for you!
