BEAUTIFULLY HANDCRAFTED COMBINATION OF A LOG HOME LIVING WITH A MODERN COMFORT

A bunch of us (12 adults and 3 kids) came down from New England for a family wedding. This house just swallowed us up, it was very clean and true to the pictures on the internet. There was plenty of room for everyone. Even though we had quite a few people getting ready for weekend events there was never a bathroom crush with the 5 bathrooms. Having a dining room table that actually accommodated all of us was definitely a plus and the kitchen was great.
The pool was well used by all.
Alex was great to deal with and was very responsive to any questions or needs.

My family and I hosted a reunion at here this past August. We were 12 adults and 6 children (mostly on the younger side) and the house was absolutely perfect. The place is gigantic, with an amazing main area that blends into a dining room and open kitchen. The bedrooms are very large and comfortable and the house had a perfect central air system so every room was comfortable!

The giant wraparound deck on the 2nd floor was great to sit on and read or stroll around with the kids. There's a great grill, a huge kitchen for making big meals for a large group. Furthermore, there's a great game room in the basement with two pool tables and a ping pong table - we spent most of our time down here. Just outside the game room is a good sized pool - very key for the warm summer days. There's also a huge yard with a a fire pit. We even brought a tent so the kids could have a camp out under the stars.

The area around the house is fantastic. Great for walks, jogs, or a drive through the country. Lake Anna itself is huge - there's a state park nearby with a nice beach and hiking trails. There are also restaurants on the lake for a nice meal or a a drink. The supermarket is a few minutes drive and is very modern and fully stocked with any and everything you'd need.

We fully enjoyed our stay here. Alex, the owner, was always available for questions and is very kind and helpful. The house was extremely clean - it felt like we were the first people to stay there.

This amazing house is ideal as it is comfortable, spacious, cozy and clean. We loved the fact that it is a log home equipped with all the modern amenities. It accomodated our group of 8 adults and 6 kids perfectly, with room to spare. We appreciated so many features especially the comfortable beds and sitting areas, the well equipped kitchen and the game room. It was not warm enough to use the pool but it definitely looked tempting. We also enjoyed the use of the sauna and Jacuzzi tubs. The grounds surrounding the house are beautiful and also well maintained. This provided us with nice views, space to play sports and tan during the day and as a romantic spot at the fire once dark. Our stay was enjoyed immensely by the kids and adults alike. The house was exactly as advertised.
