Absorb the most serene place in the village, retreat into your own reality and find your flow by the river.
Rejuvenate, read, rest, relax and enjoy the divine experience or soak away your cares in the outdoor bath while watching the platypus play.
The Convent was originally built in the 1920s and has now been fully renovated. It fronts the lower Tweed River in a position of peace and tranquillity which will enable you to relax whilst enjoying the divine experience.
The rooms are filled with richness, colour and art to inspire creativity and to provide ambience for quiet, contemplative moments.
The apartment features an open plan living with kitchen, lounge and dining area. A private palm-surrounded deck overlooks the river below with plenty of books and artwork to set the mood.
The Old Convent is located on the edge of the historic and picturesque village of Uki at the base of Mount Warning (Wollumbin). This is one of the most biodiverse regions in Australia, surrounded by World Heritage listed rainforest reserves.
Mt Warning is the first place on the Australian mainland that receives the suns as it rises every morning, and has long been sacred to the Bundjalung people of this area.
Uki is 45 minutes drive from Byron Bay, a coastal haven for people from all walks of life.
Gold Coast airport is only 40 minutes away by car.
This exquisitely beautiful region of northern NSW is home to vibrant alternative culture, with frequent markets, festivals and events taking place nearby.
