Relax in a beautifully landscaped setting at this single story two-bedroom townhouse in quiet, gated resort. Safe area with community pool outside back door and beach a short walk through parking lots. Flat screen TV with DVD and VHS player, Free Wi-Fi. Each bedroom has a queen-sized bed with attached full bathroom. TV in master bedroom.

My family adores this place - the setting is so calming and low key but there is so much to do there! The beach is so beautiful and so close by - you can actually drive on the beach!. But there are also tons of other activities - historic district, wonderful restaurants, water sports galore, lighthouse, Alligator Farm (actually very interesting!!), two outlet malls, winery, museums, Ripley's, etc

About The Owner

My husband and I work full time in the Atlanta area so we treasure any opportunity to escape to St. Augustine. Our college-aged daughter loves going with us (and without us with friends, too!). It is our favorite place to go to decompress. We have a set of our favorite places to eat, including sitting in one of the Tiki huts over the marina at The Conch House, watching the sunset over the St. Augustine Harbor; sharing the wonderful sandwiches, salads, and bakery items at The Bunnery on St. Charles Street; enjoying drinks and seafood at A1A Ale House overlooking the Bridge of Lions and the Central City Park; and sitting under the trees and enjoying the music and seafood at the Creekside Inn. The beach is a great place - you can bring all your gear easily since you can drive on the beach! It's a wide white beach, great for walking, biking, making sandcastles, picniking, sunbathing, etc. We never tire of going to the historic area of St. Augustine - cute little stores (wonderful jewelry stores!!) and a Spanish bakery as well as historical sites/fort.

Why The Owner chose St. Augustine Beach

When we moved to Atlanta, we visited a number of beaches within driving distance of Atlanta. We kept going back to St. Augustine Beach and decided to buy a place of our own there. We are so thrilled with our decision - not only does it offer a fabulous beach, it has tons of other activities and great restaurants. We like that it is more like a residential setting - there are no high-rise condos (there is a limit to height of buildings) and the traffic is reasonable. There are so many charming areas to explore, so much history to the area, which we love! We love St. Augustine Beach and Tennis Resort - the setting is so peaceful with the old oak trees and the location is fabulous. We can walk to the beach by going through the parking lots or we can easily drive onto the beach. The beach is not crowded and is so wide and beautiful.
