WATERFRONT LUXURY CONDO IN HISTORIC COUPEVILLE, WHIDBEY ISLAND

We really enjoyed the upscale feel of the condo. The Grill downstairs and the Bread and Knead down the street were great treats. Loved exploring the little shops and the historical museum. It was fun making our own dinner in the gourmet kitchen with the great view, too.

The apartment is new, clean, and well appointed. The view is fantastic and the location is superb.
However, the apartment is above a restuarant, which closes early and really isn't too loud, but the heat system (I think) cylced on and off about every 5-10 minutes. I'm not a heavy sleeper or a light sleeper, but I didn't sleep well at all during the two night stay. It was really too loud. Perhaps they could set the thermostat at a wider range so that it dons't onstantly turn on and off. I thank this would help, but I bet I would still want it quieter at night.
Finished concrete floors, whilst easy to keep clean are also kind of hard on the feet. However, I'm not a shoes indoor person. If you are, then no problem.

My wife and I really enjoyed our time at the Waterfront Condo in Coupeville. Everything was set up for us and was clean and inviting. The kitchen is amazing with all Jenn Air appliances and all other needed items included. The bedroom and bathroom were totally cool, including windows with view of the Cove. The floors are a little different, but in tune with the modern trend of the condo. They are probably not cement floors, but look like it. One heads up would be to ask the owners to turn on the heat a few days before you get there, especially if you are visiting in the winter months. The condo is heated with radiant heat and it took over 2 days to get the room temp up to 71 degrees - not good. Other than that, we had a great time there and also really enjoyed the Grill downstairs - great food and atmosphere.
