About The Owner
We are Realtors in the city of Lighthouse Point, Fl. ( about 1.25 Hours south of this property) and bought this property in June of 2004 to use to relax and escape from our 7 day a week pace of our very active Real Estate business. We enjoy boating, scuba diving, snow skiing, vacationing, reading and being with family and friends. We have a yellow Lab who loves to boat and take walks and 6 grandchildren in 3 states( which keeps us busy visiting them).
The Owner purchased this house in 2004
Why The Owner chose Stuart
We like Stuart, Fl. because it reminds us of the way Florida used to be. Stuart is a quaint small town that is oriented around the numerous bodies of water that surround it. It has great local shopping and restaurants with a local touch( not just the national franchise restaurants).
What makes this house unique
Our vacation home is positioned on the South Fork of the St. Lucie River and is approximately a 20 min. boat ride to being in the azure waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Stuart's motto is the 'Sail Fish Capitol of the World'.
The west views are forever being that the rear of the house, pool and back yard look across the River that is approximately 1/2-3/4 mile wide. Just this morning we sat and watched several pods of Dolphins playing and fishing right off our back yard!
