1 Bedroom + Convertible bed, 1 Bath (Sleeps 2-4)

This spacious one bedroom unit is nicely and completely furnished. On the fourth floor of a condo hotel, it has a sweeping view of the mountain at Beaver Creek. The Westin Hotel, directly across the street, is the location of Avon's gondola to Bachelor Gulch ski-lift, so skiers can simply walk from the unit to the gondola (about 200 meters, 3-4 minutes from the front door of the condo building).

Parking is provided in a garage under the building. Avon has many fine restaurants - some within walking distance. The closest is about 100 meters. Also within walking distance is Lake Avon, which in winter offers ice skating. Nearby you will find a fine library, and a large fitness center with pool and extensive exercise equipment. There is also a small exercise room with an attached multi-person steam room in the building for renter's use.

PRICES ARE VERY COMPETITIVE! HAVE A LOOK! (Rates do not include the 12.4% Avon City Sales and Lodging Tax).

Why the Owner Chose Avon: We bought this unit because of the beautiful view and its proximity to the gondola to Bachelor Gulch ski lift and lifts to the rest of Beaver Creek. The building is extremely quiet and private and close to shopping and restaurants.

The Unique Benefits of this Condo: Since 1995, we have visited Avon every year and have rented in various places. None of the places we stayed had an elevator, which this unit has. We consider it a huge benefit, especially when carrying in bulky winter luggage and ski equipment. We especially enjoy the privacy and quiet of this unit.

We live in North Carolina, and each year we visit in Avon, where our daughter lives and where we ski.

Why Owner chose Avon

We bought this unit because of the beautiful view and its proximity to the gondola and ski slopes. The building is extremely quiet and private and close to shopping and restaurants.

What makes this condo unique

Unit is private and quiet, with a beautiful view south toward the ski slopes of Beaver Creel and Bachelor Gulch. The close proximity to the free gondola to Bachelor Gulch's lower lift station makes it the perfect place for a ski vacation.

Lovely place in a great location!

This is one of the best places we've ever stayed in the Vail/Beaver Creek area! Large, light-filled condo, close to the gondola and the bus line. Nicely equipped kitchen, comfortable bed; everything was clean and fairly well-maintained. Our only recommendations are to get rid of/replace the shower doors (they stick) and supply a bath mat. We definitely will keep this condo in mind when we return to the area. Thank you!

Owner's Response: This is another unsolicited review, and we love them. The shower door is repaired and works fine. The lack of bath mat was an oversight by our cleaning service.

We spent 8 nights in this lovely condo which is everything the advertisement says it is. The location could not be better - right across the road from the Gondola. We didn't catch the bus at all, as found the 5 minute walk to the Gondola was more convenient and avoided having to wait around in the cold for the bus.

Most restaurants are within walking distance and it's only a short drive to the super market, sports stores etc. We never had a problem parking anywhere.

The condo is very well appointed and there was nothing more we could have asked for (except more snow!). Very clean and comfortable and the gas fireplace to come home to was a bonus. The insulation is excellent, as we found most nights we didn't even need the heating on. The views are lovely out to the mountain and the river. There is a huge carpark underneath with plenty of spaces and very convenient to take the lift direct to the condo, especially with skis, bags etc.

The staff at the front desk were always friendly and helpful with any of our questions.

We would definitely recommend this condo and hope to return one day ourselves.

Boys Trip to Beaver Creek

My wife gave me the best Xmas present ever - a week of skiing with my two step-sons, who both live in Colorado. This condo was a perfect spot. Very clean, comfortable and convenient. Gondola right across the street. Front door to base of mountain in 15 minutes. I highly recommend this spot for any family looking for a great ski vacation.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities, Romantic Getaway

Great Location; Great Value

This was the third year that my family of 4 stayed in the Beaver Creek/Avon area for Spring Break. This unit wasy, by far, the best value. Both the living/dining combo room and the bedroom are very spacious. Although the kitchen was a little on the small side, it was very well equiped. We cooked-in all but one night, and had all the equipment necessary to do so. The location is very good -- right across the street you can either catch the frequent shuttle to BC Village OR hop the gondola at the Westin which is also right across the street. Underground parking was very nice since we had a car, but you don't really need a one for this location. The wireless interent connection was fast and seemless. Before our trip, we had tentative plans to go to another resort "next year", but are now re-thinking that plan because it would be great to stay at this unit another year!
Recommended for:  Tourists without a Car, Families with Young Children
