From movie and TV stars to dignitaries and famous musicians and artists - all have loved living in this beautiful property in a prestigious uptown neighborhood. Located just two houses from famous St Charles Avenue and three blocks from the iconic Mardi Gras parade routes, this house is perfectly located steps to the street car and within walking distance -five blocks- to many fine restaurants, boutique food markets, wine merchants, movie theater, and ice creamery.

This gorgeous 3000 square foot home has three bedrooms, 2.5 baths and is beautifully appointed with designer furnishings and fine Southern Regional and International artwork. The gourmet Kitchen has a 48' Wolf commercial stove, Viking microwave, silent Electrolux dishwasher and Viking wine cooler. Kitchen is stocked with Reed and Barton flatware, tasteful china and crystal for everyday dining, or if preferred, Waterford and fine china are available upon request. Plenty of serving platters and catering dishes available for entertaining and catering.

The Kitchen and Great room have Mexican tile throughout and floor to ceiling built-in bookshelves as well as floor to ceiling French doors and windows, which open onto a lovely tree lined terrace. The kitchen and great room are light filled and tree lined and feel like being in a tree house. Sony Bravia HDTV and Bose surround sound make relaxing in the great room a pleasure. Two couches and an over-sized chair and ottoman make plenty of room for everyone.

Beautiful living room, fully furnished dining room (linens, crystal, china), open foyer and kitchen/great room on first floor. This home is perfect for individual indulgence, family living or entertaining.

The private quarters are upstairs and begin with the master bedroom en suite, marble bath , separate marble shower, and Jacuzzi tub. Three closets provide ample storage. Luxurious custom upholstered headboard and custom reading chair and lovely amenities. Master opens to covered front balcony with gorgeous views of local architecture and St Charles Avenue.

Hallway leads to second bedroom with another King size bed, shared full bath, and third bedroom with two Queen size beds. Laundry room conveniently located in hallway.

Stunning facilities in a great location

I stayed there with two friends when we attended a conference. The home itself is amazing, with a ton of space, a great back terrace. Its close to St Charles for the trolley service and walking distance to some decent restaurants on Prytania, and even walkable to Market street. The place was very clean, and the facilities well-stocked so that all we really needed to buy was food to cook.

I hate to tell you how fantastic this house is because we want to rent it again, again, and again. We are a family of 6 adults and this house is spacious and comfortable. The location is fantastic - two houses from the St. Charles street car (easy and fun ride to the Quarter and the colleges). We walked to Magazine and Freret Streets. Susan was helpful and delightful. Enjoy your visit when you go to NO. This is the best!

Could Not Have Been More Pleased

We rented this home along with two other couples for a week stay in April. None of us could think of anything that could have been better. If you are looking to put a little luxury in your life this is the perfect choice.
The location is also a great plus to this property. It is seconds away from the streetcar, with access to the French Quarter and further uptown to Audubon Park, and Tulane and Loyala Universities. Grocery stores and fine restaurants are all in walking distance.
The owner is easy to work with, and goes out of her way to help you feel at home. I would stay here again and again.

The Humphrey.. best vacation in NO ever!!

It was a great place to stay.. We will be back for sure. We have been coming to New Orleans for 25 years, and this visit was the very best. The house is roomy, very comfy, and extremly nicely decorated!!!

The house was in perfect condition when we arrived.. The cleaning crew were amazing..

I have already recommended the property to several friends.

A Dream Come True!

Completely exceeded expectations! I stayed on the "other side" of the Duplex in early December while in town for a fundraiser and I have been dreaming about my return ever since! Just lovely! Beautifully furnished and much more spacious than appears online. It has an old Hollywood feel in it's luxury but the charm and warth of New Orleans. Kitchen is chef's dream and beds are comfortable. Susan was so wonderful she even had a Christmas tree up in time for our arrival which added a bit of cozy warmth. I just can't say enough - it is the pefect spot and I truly hope I will have the chance to return time and time again.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway
