I was raised in the Air Force by great parents and lived all over this country. My father grew up here in Bay St. Louis and moved back after retirement. After living in many places since, I too have come back to roost on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

The charm of the old south has so many fond memories for me that I have tried to furnish this wonderful little cottage with the same ambience so that you will have good memories as well.

Hoping to always improve on a good thing - I invite you to come join me.

About The Owner

As an ex-flight attendant I have slept in many different beds (that did NOT sound good). I have tried to include all the things that make me feel comfortable away from home into your stay here.

The Owner purchased this cottage in 1992
Why The Owner chose Bay St. Louis

I found this little obscure block of homes in 1992 and have renovated 9 houses on this block. Not only do I live on this block but my parents and sister have also lived on this block. It has been a labor of love but we have been able to turn a sows ear into a silk purse. Truly a dream come true for me.

What makes this cottage unique

This is a quiet, safe,conveinent neighborhood just four blocks to the beach, one block from main street and one block from hwy. 90.

Will consider selling this little gem fully furnished. Would make a great weekend retreat for you and when not here it can be making money.

We are located next to another Vacation Rental by another owner - which might be of interest to a group.

Notes: Fenced in back yard, small front porch, deck in back. An amazing Harbor has been started at the end of State Street that should increase this property value tri-fold. The harbor will be a 4 block walk. We also will consider selling the home and business fully furnished.

Quaint and Comfortable

My husband and I had an enjoyable stay at your quaint, little cottage on State St. in Bay St. Louis, MS. We both rested well on the very comfortable beds. With laundry appliances on site we brought fewer clothes. The carport kept our Harley out of the sun and rain. The charming decor throughout the home was a bonus. We loved the awesome shower. Thank you, Maureen, for been such a gracious and accommodating hostess. With your rental as our homebase, we enjoyed day trips to New Orleans, Ocean Springs, and all the towns in between. Our days were filled with sunbathing on area beaches, treasure hunting the antique and gift shops, nightlife and shows at the casinos, consuming delicious, fresh seafood, and always knowing we had a cool, comfortable cottage to come home to after a busy day. Thank you for helping to make our Gulf Coast vacation a memorable one. Hope to stay at your pleasant, little cottage again in the future.

Very clean, quiet, and quaint cottage that takes you back in time when life was easier. We enjoyed our little cottage full of antiques and a simpler way of life. We rented bikes and found ourselves back in time enjoying the beauty of a less stressful way of living. A wonderful break from the real world!

We loved your vintage cottage. It had everything we needed - lots of towels, linens, soaps, and the most comfortable beds! Also, very quiet neighborhood. We were even allowed to pick fresh grapefruit from the grapefruit tree in the back yard. Thank you again.

A Great Weekend Get-A-Way

My husband & I recently stayed in this great little cottage for our second time. Conveniently located just blocks from the beach, shops & restaurants. Cozy, very clean and well furnished with comfy beds and a full-sized washer & dryer. It was just what we needed – a place to get away but still feel right at home. The owner was great – she made sure we had everything we needed and even had some brochures for activities in the area.

We will definitely return here again soon and would recommend this rental to everyone!
