Nantucket Charm! Well situated, private location offers peaceful relaxation in the heart of highly-desired Monomoy! New to the rental market -- this family-friendly 3 bedroom home has brand-new furnishings, carpet, and kitchenware. It is clean, bright, freshly painted, and with an open layout. This home is nicely located on a private lot with large grassy front and back yards. It is a half-mile walk down a country road to a sandy beach ideal for swimming and kayaking, and 1.5 miles to Nantucket town center for shopping and dining. Because of the large yard and deep set-back from the road, the home is private and removed from the summer hustle-bustle, but also close enough to be able easily to enjoy the beach and town activities.

The front door opens into a large living room/dining room, with a central fireplace and an open kitchen. There is a stackable washer/dryer, utility closet and bathrooom with shower. There also are 4 window air conditioning units. A spiral stairway leads to the second floor, where there are three bedrooms, all with built in bureaus, and a full bathroom. The back yard has an outdoor shower, and a deck with an outdoor table and chairs, sun umbrella, and barbeque grill.

I spent time at this Nantucket house in June and liked it very much. The location in Monomoy is very convenient. The major grocery store, a post office,and bank are convenient, and a lovely small beach is nearby, just down the dirt road. Although the house is not new, it is open and sunny,with lots of windows, and kitchen equipment,linens, and furnishings are new. My favorite thing about the place is that it is so peaceful, natural,and quiet, yet not far from town. The neighborhood has some beautiful properties. The place is easy and comfortable.
Recommended for:  Pet-friendly, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children
