Freshwater Studio Rental Photos and Description
Light-filled holiday retreat with veranda and kitchenette, perfect pad for a couple
In a picturesque garden setting in Freshwater, we’re offering a studio separate from the main Family Home for holiday rental.
We are a retired couple of experienced overseas travellers who have decided to offer other travellers a safe, casual and affordable garden retreat, for those needing accommodation while visiting Sydney and Manly.
Our Garden Flat is fully self-contained with kitchenette, microwave, twin cooktop stove and warmer oven. Additional amenities include a kettle, toaster, electric sandwich maker, all crockery and cutlery for 4 persons (although maximum occupancy is for 2 guests).
The rental additionally offers a full shower/bathroom with good air flow and a large window for a refreshing experience after a hard day’s sightseeing or hours spent at one of the many nearby beaches.
Our holiday home’s bedding arrangement can either consist of an extra large queen size bed or two twin single beds, whichever is preferred by the guests. Please be sure to mention this upon booking.
The Garden Flat boasts an expansive veranda with table and chairs for alfresco dinning or simply to sit and enjoy the sea breeze on a balmy summer’s evening.
Please take advantage of the garden while you holiday with us. The swimming pool at our Freshwater retreat may also be used by the guests, but please be mindful of swimming pool safety rules.

Many thanks or the wonderful stay in your cozy cottage. Everything was clean and comfortable.
We wished the weather had not been so rainy so the umbrella was very useful, thank you.
We hope to be back here in December for a longer stay.
Thank you again.

We are a retired couple of world travellers who appreciate quiet comfortable and safe accommodation when travelling overseas and are offering the same to visitors to our beautiful suburb of Freshwater on the popular Northern Beaches of Sydney, Australia.
My husband is a retired tug boat master.
His work life was on Sydney Harbour and the historic port of Botany Bay.
As well as being a busy mother of two sons I am also an artist, textile designer and quilt maker. I also enjoy tennis, yoga, walking along our beautiful beach sides. I am a keen movie goer and stage show and opera patron.
We are both keen gardeners and enjoy having others enjoy the fruits of our labours.
This property was built by my family nearly seventy years ago.
The holiday Garden accommodation was build just a few years ago for the purpose of my yoga practice and as an art studio.
Purpose built to inspire and relax.
This area is quiet and very peaceful residential.
You will experience a true beach side casual experience, just as we have enjoyed for the 40 years we have lived here and raised our family here.
The sea breeze is never far away, some summer days will be very warm to hot and then the sea breeze arrives late afternoon or evening to help cool every thing down.
Living on a hill within walking distance to the beach is invigorating and refreshing.
The surf and natural rock pools are always beckoning you to come and take a refreshing dip.
During Spring and Autumn it is not uncommon to sight the migrating whales travelling along our coast to and from the breading grounds.
A days trip around Sydney Harbour or just a 30minute commute into Sydney CBD by Harbour Ferry is a unique experience.
Taronga Park Zoo is a 15mt bus ride and is worth seeing as a world class zoo experience featuring the beautiful birds and other wild life unique to Australia.
The Manly Museum and Art Gallery is a must see for all travellers with an interest in local and historical art.
Next to the Manly Art Gallery is the Aquarium where you can watch the sea life being hand fed by divers. During holiday times live demonstrations are available with look and touch experiences of the sea life.
Manly is the start of the Northern Beaches peninsular with surf beaches on one side and harbour beach on the other just a short walk to either side.
From Manly wharf take the local bus to the Quarantine Station a tour can be taken on prior arrangement with a guided ghost tour during the summer months. The Quarantine Station is steeped in local and Australian History and a very worth while tour.
