We couldn't have picked a more perfect place to stay on our fourth trip to one of our favorite summer spots. So very convenient to everything the city has to offer. Main street & the lifts are about 5 min walking distance and makes for a very nice morning bike ride to breakfast. My family absolutely loved it and didn't want to leave this cozy, beautifully decorated spot even after a week. There was more than enough room for my family of 5. I'm booking early, we cannot wait to do it again next year ! Thank YOU!

We were at this condo two different times and loved it. We were there once with just my wife and I, and next time with more family, including a five year old. It is close to everything, walking to town, hiking, etc. We loved having a grill on the patio, and being able to have the younger ones upstairs. The rooms are big and very comfortable. We can't wait to find time to go back!

Great value, great location!!

  • 5 of 5
I love Breck year round. I have rented this condo in August and September for hiking nearby. This condo is within walking distance to a park, playground, public volleyball, dog park and downtown. For those who prefer--the shuttle is just steps away. We rented the condo again this spring for our first ski trip in many years. The condo easily fit our large group of 8. Kitchen was well equipped, gas grill was on the patio. Loved the hot tub after a day of skiing. Planning another trip for July. We will rent this condo again. We would recommend this condo for the value and location. Can't beat 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and bunkbeds. Great for walking , shuttle and plenty of parking.

Great condo for a great price!

  • 5 of 5
My family stayed here over spring break, and it was great! Convenient shuttle to the lifts, short walk to grocery store and downtown. Condo was spacious, plenty of room for 6 adults and so nice! Also well stocked with kitchen goods, extra pillows TV's everywhere, etc. They even had Cards Against Humanity for us to play (parental discretion advised)! A great trip, would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Absolutely Wonderful Condo

  • 5 of 5
This was our second trip to this condo and the convenience and spaciousness cannot be beat! It was so easy to hop on the shuttle to take you directly to the lifts and there was ample room for all eight of us. We cooked in most nights and the grill on the patio was a big plus. The owner was very accommodating and willing to answer any questions we had and responded right away to our questions. The hot tub on the property was also a plus and was very relaxing. I would definitely recommend this condo to anyone and we look forward to renting this condo again in the future.

NOT WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!! KEEP YOUR MONEY.

  • 1 of 5
We arrived ahead of schedule to this condo (approx. 4 hrs. prior to check-in), but was able to access the lockbox to retrieve the key. I immediately called the property manager, who told me it was ok to leave our luggage while the cleaning crew cleaned. As we entered the condo, we were greeted with extreme filth and a strong unpleasant odor. And I'm not talking about from the previous renters. I understand dishes in the sink, pillows on the floors, and un-made beds before the cleaning crew arrived. What I don't understand, and what we didn't pay for was cracked walls, paint chips on EVERY single corner of this condo, grimy fingerprints surrounding every door pull, cracked door casings, cracked door, filthy base boards, pet hair in the sofa, soap scum in the tub, a gaping hole surrounding the faucet in the bathroom, goop on the walls and matted carpets. The property manager was informed of our extreme unhappiness and suggested that we reserve our opinion until the cleaning crew finished. We obliged, but our opinion did not change because all of the above were not remedied by the typical 2-3 hour cleaning before guests arrive, and we asked for a full refund. Our request was denied, and we were told 'sometimes this complete lack of humidity wreaks havoc on folk more accustomed to humidity. There are humidifiers in each bedroom..." We were only offered an insulting $200 refund if we left or for us to leave for 4 hours (at this point it is 4pm on the day of travel and we did not have a car and the bus stops running at 5pm) and that she'd send in a crew to do a 'deep cleaning'. This property and this management company is a joke. This is my 5th booking through vrbo.com and my first and only complaint. I would give this property zero stars if it allowed. SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE!!

Owner's Response: ------------------------P L E A S E R E A D !!!!!---------------------

The party declined our attempts to rectify all their complaints on the spot.

The party entered the unit 4 hours before check-in without permission and immediately asked for a 100% refund before the unit was clean.

No prior negative comment has been made in any form at any time on this property.

Both our field people were sent to the property to confirm that indeed, although some (not even close to EVERY single one) of the corners did need some paint touch-up, this unit falls well within acceptable rental standards, given the pristine nature of the rest of the unit.

This meandering tale, spoken in exaggerations and absolutes, should be a good indicator to the reliability of this grossly unfounded 1-star review on this lovely property.

Since the town of Breckenridge pre-dates the ski area by 102 years, the place blissfully lacks a master-planned feel and has authentic, historic, small-town charm. You may feel away from it all tucked in the White River National Forest in Breckenridge, but you are really in the epicenter of Colorado's best!

You are within 30 minutes from 5 other major ski areas: Vail, Keystone, Arapahoe Basin, Copper Mountain and Loveland!! Plus, the huge shopping center Outlets at Silverthorne are a mere 20 minute, stunningly scenic jaunt!

In and around Breckenridge, a pervasive network of historic mining trails offer fabulous chances to explore the valley on a mountain bike, a dog sled, snowmobile, cross-country skis, snowshoes or even feet! Other surprisingly year-round activities include fishing, museum and historical sites tours, hot air balloon rides and mine tours. You can get private, guided tours on virtually any activity imaginable!

During summer, climb a nearby 14er (14,000+ foot mountain) at Quandary Peak. Bike rental shops will point you to the paved bike path along the Blue River stretching for miles of scenic beauty on the way to Frisco. From Frisco you can bike to Keystone, around Lake Dillon and even to Vail Pass!

Breckenridge is serious about summer fun with the Gold Runner (raised rail) Alpine Coaster, hit howling speeds on the famous Alpine Slide, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h91OUmOEHio&feature=related plus take scenic chairlift rides, pan for gems, go bungee jumping, play miniature golf, go white water rafting and take a 4x4 off-road tour!

Did you know The Town of Breckenridge owns a Jack Nicklaus-designed, 27-hole golf course? Not only have numerous national and regional honors have been bestowed on the course, but the golf ball flies farther and straighter than at lower elevations, since there is less air resistance. As summer wanes, taking a drive on Boreas Pass Road during the fall is one of the best places to see fall color in the Colorado – perfectly timed to be the weekend of OktoberFest! Don't miss Breckenridge's many fun and wacky festivals throughout the year!

Despite the appreciation for preserving the old town area, massive ski area improvements continue to enhance the skier experience at Breckenridge. With a new bridge, now you can ski right down to Main Street to Colorado’s largest and best-preserved historic district. The Breck Connect Gondola is right next to the free bus depot, which loads in the middle of the parking lot! Breckenridge banished the death marches schlepping gear!! You'll find everything from steep, above-timberline chutes and bowls to groomed greens and everything in between. There are five terrain parks and half-pipes for skiers and boarders, with the terrain park called “Freeway” rated as one of the best in the United States!

Truly world-class cuisine awaits at many of Breckenridge’s 60 restaurants, plus a vibrant arts scene, numerous spas, and over 200 stores. Downtown Breckenridge shops offer everything from extravagant to oddball. Don’t forget - if name brands are your thing, the expansive Outlets at Silverthorne are only minutes away. Breckenridge somehow blends the indulgent with the funky and friendly that make this town a must-see (and do) for ANY season!
