Charlottenburg-Willmersdorf Vacation Rental apartment

This is a very clean and comfortable home-from-home, right in the city centre and yet very quiet. Only 5-10 minutes walk away from the wonderful Department Store, KaDeWe, it is close to the famous 100 bus route that takes you around all of the sites for a mere 2.10 Euros and near a stop for the 200 - a direct link to MuseumInsel. A ferry stop for the canal and Spree boat trip is just across the road. The Tiergarten is very close and for those inclined to exercise, it's only 30-45 minutes to have a lovely walk to the Reichstag, Brandenburg Gate and the main Museums. The Berlin Philarmonic is very close too and it's about a 15 minute walk to the main station at Zoo'garten. A shop at ground level provides the basic foodstuffs and there is a more extensive and cheaper supermarket a few blocks away. For those less able, the flat can be accessed by a convenient lift. It was quite cold when we were there at the beginning of April but the heating in the flat is very good and easily controlled. We were three adults and, by using the sofa in the sitting room, were able to sleep separately (restlessness and an inclination to snore). There is a very adequate hairdryer, so no need to bring your own, washing machine and tumble dryer, and a dishwasher. It was very easy to make our booking through email contact with the very pleasant and friendly owner, with whom we spoke on the telephone before our arrival. She has an excellent grasp of English, having worked in England (though we did try to use our German). Berlin is a fascinating city and this was the ideal apartment to retreat to for a good night's sleep before the next day's adventures. I highly recommend it.

Die Wohung hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Sie ist sehr gut ausgestattet - es fehlt einfach an nichts. Gleich neben der Haustür ist ein kleiner Shop bei dem man frische Brötchen, Getränke und andere Lebensmittel kaufen kann.
Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und gepflegt und bietet problemlos für 3 Personen und auch mehr Platz. Die Innenstadt ist leicht zu erreichen, und auch die wichtigen Buslinien 100 und 200 fahren an mehreren Haltestellen in 200 - 400 m der Wohung ab (z.B. Corneliusbrücke, Lützowplatz).

Die Wohnung ist genau wie die Vermiterin es On-line beschreibt. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber, gepflegt und gut ausgestattet. Wie unser Title sagt, es ist die ideale Wohnung um Berlin zu erleben: die zentrale Lage ermöglicht ein schnelles Besuch von allen Sehenswurdigkeiten von Berlin. Zu empfehlen.
