Lahaina Roads #311 was remodeled during the fall of 2011. There is a King bed in the bedroom and a queen size murphy bed in the living room for comfortable sleeping right on the ocean. The apartment has a flat screen TV in the bedroom and in the living room. We supply all the big and little things we can think of to make your stay comfortable and easy - a hair dryer in the bathroom, an Iron/ironing board, toaster, blender, micro, coffeemaker, teapot and tea kettle. We supply starters for paper products, soaps and select kitchen/food starters. There are also beach supplies - beach towels, a cooler and beach chairs. We supply all the bed, bath and kitchen linens you need for a warm and comfortable stay.
It's an intimate resort property, just 42 apartments total. Full kitchen, en suite W/D, A/C, king bed, queen Murphy bed in living room. Sleeps a maximum of 4 persons. Minimum stay is 5 nights.
I am a hardworking nurse, looking forward to retirement, at long last. I am so looking forward to enjoying Maui more often and the peacefulness that is Lahaina Roads #311. For now my sister manages the vacation rental guests for me.

My sister, Jan Hendrix, has owned Lahaina Roads #308 for many years now, and I've always thought it was the perfect spot in paradise! Now I don't have to be jealous of her or that sweet Lahaina Roads #308 - I have my own piece of paradise to love and enjoy and share with you.
Lahaina Roads is a short walk to Lahaina town, where there are art galleries, all kinds of entertainment, fantastic restaurants and of course, world class golfing, surfing and snorkeling/diving. The Old Lahaina Luau is an easy walk away!
We stayed 10 nights in this condo and found it to be clean with a well equipped kitchen. The whole complex is well taken care of, and the view is extraordinary. Hope to visit again.
Our 15 day stay at this location was wonderful. The lanai was awesome, the ocean just outside. The condo was well-equipped, clean, nicely furnished. The murphy bed was surprisingly comfortable so we slept there every night with the patio doors open. The pool/patio area was just recently re-furbished. We made use of the BBQ & frequently ate at home. No restaurant could out-do that view. There was even a small library available. The building is older but well kept & so incredibly close to the water. There is ample parking for everyone but we wish we had rented a smaller car as the spaces are pretty tight. Bring your binoculars. You can watch the whales, turtles right from the lanai or the pool deck. Nice central location, an easy walk to the grocery store, several restaurants.
We would return tomorrow if we could, even though it would mean missing snowmobile season.
This was the perfect condo for our family of four, two adults and two teenagers. The swimming pool and Lahaina Harbor were right below our lanai. We saw so many sea turtles at the base of the stairs leading into the harbor and every evening we enjoyed watching the sunset as it set next to Lanai. We were also able to easily walk to the Lahaina Cannery Mall as well as some wonderful restaurants, and thanks to Jan we got some great tips about places to see and things to do on Maui. It was an excellent family vacation.
We stayed here for four nights at the end of May and loved it. I am still daydreaming about listening to the waves crash 24/7. You can hear them from the bedroom all night. This condo has a spectacular location on top of the amazing view. When we could actually get ourselves off of the lanai, we walked in to town every day/night (it does get a bit dark at night in some spots, but we used the flashlight on our phones and had no problems). It was exactly as advertised - clean, updated, relaxing, and well equipped. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone. Jan is also super helpful and is kind enough to give lots of great advice/recommendations.
This condo is everything the owner has described, plus a lot more. We have made this condo our home for the month of Feb for the last 5 years. I would say this is the best property on Maui because of the location and amenities. The view from the lanai, living room or kitchen is beautiful ocean. Sitting on the lanai you can watch turtles. In whale season you can watch the whales from the lanai and pool area. The unit has air conditioning but we find you don't really need it. If you open the vents in the front door and leave the slider open you get a wonderful breeze. The Murphy bed is an nice feature because when you use it the sounds of the ocean will help put you to sleep. The location is was perfect and everything you could want was in walking distance. The condo is equipped with everything you would need for your stay including a washer and dryer.
This was our first time in Maui or the Hawaiin Islands for that matter and we could not be happier that we found Lahaina Roads 311!! It is everything advertised and more. This unit is very tastefully recently renovated and has everything you will need. The ocean view from the lanai is breathtaking. The owner Jan is a fantastic person to deal with and her recommendations were all spot on. This unit is very close to all amenities including Safeway, Starbuck's and Lahaina Front Street - all within walking distance. This is a great location to use as your home base while exploring the entire island. The grounds/pool are meticulously maintained by the resident Caretaker who takes great pride in his work. We recommend that if you are staying in 311 first check to see what previous visitors may have left (laundry detergent, etc.} before you purchase your staples. We used the standard iitems (cooler, beach chairs, etc.), that Jan includes as part of the unit, quite often. Also, take Jan's advice and book your excursions through Barefoot Tours. You will quickly learn that the 1/2 price or better rates that the Tour Vendors on Front Street offer are all just the typical "lure you into a Condo" presentation - but they tell you this after an hour discussing excursions with them and just before you are ready to pay them for the reduced rates. We would not hesitate returning to Maui in the future and only hope that this unit is available when we do. Aloha & Mahalo Jan!
