This house is comfortable, spacious, well decorated & has cable & internet (seasonaly) & window air conditioning (seasonaly).

LOCATION: This property is convenient to Long Sands Beach. A walk down to the beach on Blueberry Lane, or Beacon St. will have you arrive at the steps onto the sand. A bath house is nearby.

Retreat back to the house for shade and quiet away from the hub-bub of the seasonal traffic. Kick back, read a book, take a nap, watch TV or DVD, grill something & just enjoy the outdoors either on the front or back deck.

JUNE 2012 WEEKEND SPECIAL $ 400.

Avoid the crowd, skip the parking and heavy traffic problems. Drive during off hours with gaurenteed parking and an easy walk to the beach at the end of your trek. Spend your beach weekend in the comfort of a fully equipped home. With a short walk to the beach, shower, sleeps 8, parking for 6 cars, TV & Internet etc, etc etc.. Check in Friday after 12 PM NOON; check out Sunday by 12 PM NOON.

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency (US Dollar) unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

Notes

  • Cleaning fee is not refundable.
  • Security deposit of $500 is required to confirm & hold the reservation.

    Any property damages will be paid for from security deposit; additional damages will result in court action.

    Security deposit will be refunded 30 days after rental ends.

    Security deposit will be forfited by cancelation of the reservation.

    Payment in full of rental fee is required 30 days before arrival.
  • Property wil be cleaned prior to check-in. Daily cleaning is the responsibilty of the tenant. The property shall be left as found at check-in. Fees may be deducted from the security deposit to cover unusual cleaning problems discovered after check-out.

    Property is cleaned weekly on change-over day, which is Saturday between 10AM to 2PM.

    Tenants shall have the property available for cleaning each Saturday.

Beautiful House

This house is absolutely beautiful. I was actually shocked at how big it really was because the pictures had made it seem smaller. It has a full finished basement which our kids loved. The kitchen was spacious which made it easier for us adults to move around while cooking. There was more than enough beds to accomidate the 4 adults & 4 children that stayed in the house. There was a lot of little knick knacks that we had to put away because our children tend to think they're toys. So if you have small children be prepared for that. However, the house was very tastefully decorated. Its about a 1/2 mile walk to the ocean (long sands beach) so we walked most days as parking was hard to find at the beach. The owner provides a push beach buggy which makes walking much easier. Its a 5 minute drive to short sands beach, playground & the zoo. My only complaint would be is they definately need a new grill. The grill is very old & only cooks on a high setting so food tends to burn. The owners are the sweetest people. They were a pleasure to rent from.

Quiet, Clean, Comfortable...Extremely Nice Cottage

We stayed here for a week with our family. The cottage was nicely decorated, clean, and had many amenities (everything listed on the website and more). It was spacious, well laid-out, and perfect for our big family. The two decks were awesome and the grill came in handy. I also loved that the cottage was set up so efficiently. The owners thought of every way to make the stay comfortable and easy. Some examples: There was very nice area with a hose to clean all our sandy feet, chairs, etc. each day; the kitchen was large and all appliances were in good working order; main bathroom was big and included washer/dryer, and there was plenty of drawer, closet, and cabinet space. Master bedroom was huge and gave my husband and I a quiet spot to relax away from the kids when we wanted to. I would, without hesitation, recommend this property to family and friends, and we hope to stay at this cottage for many future summers. Furthermore, York Beach is my favorite vacation spot. So much is located within walking distance...shops, two beaches, amusement park, zoo, restaurants, Nubble Light, Brown's Ice Cream (the BEST), Long Sands General Store (GREAT coffee & more!)...You can literally park your car and comfortably walk to many attractions. We had such a wonderful time!

What a wonderful place to stay at York Beach! The house was very clean, tastefully decorated and furnished with everything one could want on vacation. The beds were very comfortable enabling you to have a restful night’s sleep. The location is fabulous in close proximity to the beach and surrounding attractions. I would highly recommend this rental property and will most definitely come back again.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
