Carole and I have a special love for Victoria. Our penthouse reflects the ideal location & heritage value in the heart of Old Town, within walking distance of all the great spots.

Our distinctive 1273 sq ft unit is located on the top floor of a dominant three storey heritage building in one of the most beautiful cities in the World.

The 800 sq ft private roof terrace and garden with its wooden planters, flower pots and 'camp fire style' natural gas heater, overlooks the intersection of Johnson and Government streets, one of the busiest intersections in the city's commercial core.

The 13 ft ceilings, original red brick interior walls and huge 18” by 12” douglas fir (original) beams make it very special.

PERFECT PLACE TO ENJOY VICTORIA!

What a wonderful place to call home during our visit to Victoria! The apartment was beautiful - even better than the pictures portray! We have stayed in many VRBO homes and often find them a bit tired and in need of TLC - but not here! The apartment is beautifully appointed with everything we needed and was very clean. To me it was as if it was ready for the owners to come home to instead of prepared for a traveler. We loved the rooftop deck and the upstairs room was a perfect hideaway for our 16 year old son. It works well for 2 couples as the 2nd bedroom was just a bit smaller than the master, but every bit as nice. The 2nd bathroom is also very nice and was easy to share with our son.

Tim and Heather were delightful and we really enjoyed sharing a happy hour with them.

The location can't be beat as it is walking distance to everything in town. We enjoyed whale watching, Butchart Gardens and would highly recommend tea at the White Heather Tea Room as it was less than half the cost of The Empress and was delicious!

Thanks to Carole and Danny for sharing your beautiful home and for having such a great couple to manage it! We had a lovely time!

AMAZING HOME AWAY FROM HOME

From booking this home until leaving the parking lot, we were absolutely delighted. The owners and the caretakers were both the type of people that we'd enjoy having as lifelong friends. The home was spectacular - clean, equipped with everything we needed including extra blankets and a pull out bed in the loft for a visitor from out of town, and filled with fascinating art, family photos, and comfy furniture. We were SO at home that after having colleagues over one evening, we were asked when we'd moved in - they thought we lived there! The best feature, of course, was the roof top patio - complete with flower baskets and a fire pit. We were within an easy walk to the inner harbour, the Empress, the Provincial Museum, and shopping. As this was a work trip for us, we appreciated being close to the Victoria Conference/Convention Centre and the spaciousness made it a comfortable after-hours work space and a great place to connect with colleagues.

GREAT LOCATION AND AMAZING ROOFTOP VIEW!

This was a perfect loft our family. First of all the loft is situated right in the heart of downtown Victoria, you can walk to all the shops and restaurants. But if you have to drive this property comes with a secure underground parking stall, which is great for saving on those expensive parking meters downtown.

The loft itself was not only beautiful but super spacious and had lots of storage and room to spread out. It also was also stocked with everything that you could possibly need including a highchair! The old exposed brick and wooden beams just added to the warmth and charm of this gem. But nothing compares to the private rooftop garden! I would pay just to sit up there in the evening and have a glass of wine. This patio overlooks the charming old downtown district with the Warf just 2 blocks in the distance. Added bonus was the gas fire place and having our own private rooftop fire.

The owners and management we very nice and easy to deal with and we really felt like we were in a home away from home with some added luxuries. I would highly recommend staying here and will be back with my family again.

Jewish Congregation Emanuel Temple, is the oldest surviving synagogue in Canada, a renown national historic site built in 1863 and located just 2 blocks from our condo at the corner of Blanchard and Pandora.

Church of Our Lord, built in 1876 is the oldest church building in Victoria and one of the finest examples of carpenter gothic style in BC. Designated a federal and provincial heritage site.
