Cute and Convenient...but
The Pros:
This location is within walking distance to restaurants, brewery and "downtown" Dunedin. Great area!
The room is laid out like a hotel room, but with a few extra goodies in the kitchen department to make your stay more comfortable (dishes, silverware, a toaster, etc.)
Parking was fine for me since I was the only one there in the middle of winter, but I imagine if more than one unit is rented that parking and maneuvering in and out may be a challenge.
Cons:
Lighting in the whole place is dim.
The bathroom fan is ON if the light is on. There is no other option. It's loud.
The heater was not turned on when I arrived; low temp outside was in the 40s. In town for a conference, I didn't settle into the room until 11pm the first night and it was COLD in there! Once I figured out how to use the heater, it took until around 4-5am to warm the room. I had to wear extra clothes, and my sweater and hat to bed because it was freezing in there. There was no extra blankets, just the thin one on the bed. I used towels. Lesson learned to check heat setting ASAP.
The worst part unfortunately, was the bed. The mattress is very soft and not supportive. Tossed and turned, woke up hurting all over, and not well rested.
Disappointed because this place has a LOT going for it, it really is cute, and so convenient, but the bed being crap means I can't come back. I HAVE to be able to get good sleep, especially when I'm in town for a conference and I need to be mentally sharp.
