We LOVED staying at Skyline Dr! My family and I had come in from across the country for my sister's wedding and it was the perfect place for us to stay. The house is even better than the pictures! It was clean and well-stocked. The owner/manager was quick to respond to emails and very pleasant. Would rent from them again. Loved the location- very convenient for activities in Woodland Park and not too far from Colorado Springs. The view from the windows in the house was great. We also saw 7 deer and a fox during our stay. Cant speak any more highly of the house and owners. Was a great experience!!

Words and pictures cannot capture the excellence of this place. It is not a 'rental unit' - it is somebody's home - solidly built and well-appointed. I was amazed at all the little touches throughout the house - obviously the result of the Duntons' years of experience at their business. I am very picky - especially in the kitchen, and I couldn't find it lacking one single utensil, appliance or amenity, and all of top quality.

I have been vacationing in the Ute Pass area for the last 50 years - this place is number 1. (PS - It does not seem as close to the businesses on Highway 24 as Google Maps makes it look like...)

Must-eat restaurants - the Pantry in Green Mountain Falls (breakfast/lunch), the Hungry Bear and Mangia Mangia in WP.

Must-avoid restaurants - Casa Grande (I've eaten a LOT of good Mexican food - this wasn't it...)

My family from Kansas met us in Woodland Park for a family vacation. The house at Skyline was beautiful and perfect for our needs. That evening we discovered a plumbing problem and Mike was able to get us a alternate house for the night. It was a gorgeous property and the kids loved all the hiking but it was a little remote for all our planned activities. Mike already had a plumber out by 8:30am and we were able to move back to Skyline that afternoon. He was wonderful to work with and made our stay fabulous. I would gladly stay at any of their properties in the future.

Our extended family of 10 enjoyed our stay tremendously. This property was in a perfect location for us--away from the city yet fairly close access to all Pikes Peak area attractions. Accommodations and amenities were excellent. A second TV would have been nice for the younger children, but otherwise, this was an excellent property with an awesome view of the mountains. Would not hesitate to stay again.
Owner's Response: Unfortunately the second TV went out during a nearby summer thunder storm just prior to this visit. It has since been replaced.

We enjoyed a wonderful relaxing weekend in this home with our family. It is newly remodeled and is very comfortable for 8-10 to enjoy meals and visiting. Bedrooms are quiet and roomy. Master suite with double shower is a great hideaway. Downtown is within walking distance. Outstanding value! We will rent this home again when we return to Woodland Park.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway
