Family Vaca

Cozy, small cabin in the woods. Within an hour of so many things to do, that we ran out of time! We were able to hike to see 5 waterfalls, Mingo and Soco Falls are a must! In addition, the Biltmore was amazing to see.
However, the kitchen was well supplied, but extremely small--so we cooked outside on the grill and fire pit for dinners, but breakfast was still tight. Lunches were sandwiches out in the Smokey Mountains National Park.
Lots of cute decorations, but the upstairs was not being dusted thoroughly while the downstairs was fine.
Spiral Staircase to the master suite was difficult to navigate with larger suitcases, and had very limited storage for guests.
Woke up several mornings to neighbors burning extraneous wood on the edge of their property closest to the cabin. We could hear the fire crackling through the solid wooden walls which was slightly scary.
Also, the garbage dumpsters were over 10 minutes away.
This property is a wonderful base of operations for our family to enjoy the surrounding area, however, small at night with all of us indoors.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your positive comments and the 4 star rating on our vacation home. I have contacted our housekeeper to check about the dusting. If you had called me upon your notice of this I could have had them come over to make any adjustments. I regret that the neighbors selected to do wood burning during your stay, but it sounds like they took proper care in doing so. It's great that you got to so many waterfalls. I agree that Soco Falls is a favorite. Most importantly, happy you had a save vacation and return home.
