This area is great in the summer to escape the heat, in the winter to ski and hike and the fall to see the changing leaves. There is no wrong time to come to the mountains and this cabin will give you access to all of it. You could also choose just to stay at the cabin and sit on the deck or play in the creek and relax. Cook a gourmet meal and enjoy a glass of wine while listening to the creek passing over ancient rocks through your own private forest.
The cabin welcomes you, your pet and children. Come once and you will want to come back many times to see all of the seasons.

I am a Special Education Director and Teacher at a small charter school in Boone. I moved here from Charleston, SC to give my children a place free from the fast life. My son has autism and loves the outdoors and all the mountains have to offer. My daughter just graduated from Appalachian State University, here in Boone. We have 3 dogs and many other animals pass through our doors. I love to read, travel and jetski or fish. Come and see why we love it here!
We bought this cabin as our vacation spot. After coming here for years, we moved here permanently and bought a larger home. Now the cabin is available for others to enjoy.
Complimentary wine will be awaiting your arrival.
Sit on the deck and listen to the sounds of the creek rushing over the ancient rocks. Climb onto the rocks and watch the birds and chipmunks in amongst the beautiful trees.
