About The Owner

Married couple with 3 children, 1 is still in high school. We both are County employees, and also own a supper club and a large dance/wedding/banquet hall.

The Owner purchased this house in 2010
Why The Owner chose Willmar

Family grew up in this area, we have lived here for 26 years. This is a quiet area right on the lake. It's very peaceful here. We are located about 2 miles from the center of Ortonville.

What makes this house unique

It is a 2 minute drive to a beautiful 18 hole golf course. Right on the shores of Big Stone Lake, you can enjoy your morning coffee outdoors on the deck and watch the ducks swim by. Supperclub close by, reservations can be made in advance, as we own the supperclub.

Myself and 5 others stayed here for 2 weeks for work. Interior is like or near new. House has all the amenities and conveniences as advertised. Great restaurant in a beautiful log cabin right next door with excellent food, huge steaks. The owner is one of the nicest people you will ever meet and he was quick to respond any requests we had. THIS HOUSE IS HUGE, do not be afraid of not having enough space.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities, Romantic Getaway

Very nice place to stay, clean and modern. Owners are very friendly and easy to deal with. Right next door to a very nice supper club so if you don't feel like cooking you can go there to eat. Highly recommend staying here. Great place to rent!
