The Place to Stay in Montego Bay!
Where to start........ The Villa was brand new with all 5 bedroom featuring an ensuite and a half bath off the living room. It was impeccably clean and kept that way for the duration of our stay by the wonderful, Jown. The service between JB, Marcia and Jown was more than we could have hoped. What every you needed, whenever you needed it it was done for you, and always with a gracious smile.
The food was to die for and always made to fit our schedule. JB and Marcia would make what ever we wanted and each and every meal was better than the last. We ate everything from sushi and fish taco's to more traditional dishes like stewed oxtail and curried goat with rice and peas. Get them to make you local food, you wont regret it.
Though we were warned not to swim in the Lagoon, we were given passes to the Sea Winds beach club, which was a 5 minute walk away. It is a beautiful sand beach with cabana's and sun chairs, with reasonably priced drinks and food available,
Deep Sea fishing on the owners boat is a must. We were lucky enough to catch a 120 lbs Blue Marlin, which was a highlight of the trip, not to mention the 3 delicious different meals JB and Marcia concocted from our share of the spoils.
Heading to the Zipline is also worth the trip. Golf at Cinnamon Hill was also a great time.
In terms of eating out, we tried to nail down the best Jerk Spot in Montego Bay, and spent the majority of our lunches at eith Scotchies, Jerkies, or the Pork Pit. Scotchie is the furthest from the Villa but was the overall winner in our minds. But JB and Marcia's jerk chicken was a close second.
This Villa had everything we needed and as a group of 8 hardly felt the need to leave. With plenty of outdoor and indoor space, we were able to enjoy ourselves at home. Ample TV selection for those hungover or rainy days.
The owner Arthur was very helpful and hospitable the entire way through the process. I can guarantee this will be a worry free vacation.
Honestly you aren't going to beat the service and quality for the money. I would go back and recommend anyone else to stay here over a resort while they are in Montego Bay.
All 8 of us will miss Yaso Villa and the wonderful staff.
