Eleven Oaks Suite is located in a downtown Austin home that has both city and state historical designation. Your hosts, who live on the premises, are homeowners Ted Siff and Janelle Buchanan and their two daughters. The original part of the house was built in 1858 by Edward Clark, who was Texas’ lieutenant governor under Sam Houston and, briefly, governor.

Your suite has a private entrance and a designated parking space in the rear of the property. Entrance is through a locked gate into the back yard. Your suite is comprised of a bedroom with a double bed, television, writing desk, closet with plenty of hanging space, full-length mirror and small chest of drawers; a bathroom with shower; and a kitchen with a table and two chairs, dishes, glasses and utensils, a small refrigerator, microwave, toaster and Keurig single-serve coffee maker. A small patio is outside your kitchen door, with a table and chairs. Clothing hangers, a hair dryer, coffee, tea and a variety of sweeteners are provided. Before your arrival we will stock the refrigerator with cream, butter, cream cheese and bottled water to supplement whatever food you choose to bring or purchase for your stay.

When we confirm your reservation, please let us know approximately what time to expect you. You will come to the front door of our house, where we will meet you with your keys and directions to parking and entrance to your suite. We will also give you the WiFi password at that time.

AWESOME QUAINT RENTAL!

We were in Austin for a very short stay. This rental was very private and quiet. The inside was amazing and adorable. We absolutely loved it. Loved the outdoor porch too. But take some mosquito deterrent, (it is summer Texas). Only complaint was not having enough time to get to know the owners a little more. Maybe next visit. Ted and Janelle were very hospitable and immediately available for our needs. But we didn't really have any.
Absolutely loved it. Highly recommended. For adults only. No room for kids.

LOVELY HIDEAWAY IN THE MIDDLE OF AUSTIN

We had a fantastic stay in the guest cottage. Our hosts had thought of everything, from chilled wine and water in the fridge to sundries that we might have forgotten. This location is perfect for parking and walking all over town. We walked to watch the bats fly, to hang out on 6th street, to see the Capitol - to do everything. My company has an office just blocks away. If I have to come to town on business, I know I will be staying here. Thank you so much for giving us a wonderful, quiet, peaceful weekend escape!

LOVE THIS PLACE! WOULD DEFINITELY STAY HERE AGAIN

The location is excellent. The owners are friendly and helpful. The suite is clean and comfortable. It is stocked with coffee, wine, beer, water, butter and a few other items. The patio is beautiful. You have your own parking place and it is located close to many restaurants, so no need to drive. They have put together a book summarizing the downtown area restaurants and items of interest. There are books in the suite on things to do in Austin. There are so many things just within walking distance or a short drive, like 6th Street, Zilker Park, Barton Springs Pool, and the Congress Street Bridge.
I love this place and highly recommend it. I would definitely stay here again.

WE ENJOYED OUR STAY AND PLAN TO RETURN

Nice, quiet area with a great respect for history and property maintenance. The trees are great as is the landscaping. I would stay there again. It would be better to have control of the heating and cooling system in the guest house and not in the main house.
