We live in California
We welcome messages in English, French and German.
Dr and Mrs S. Morcos purchased this apartment in 1989
This apartment is excelent for vacation. very convenient for daily life and office work.
This is the place where we stay when we return to Paris after 20 years of professional work in Paris. We enjoy the real Parisian life while being close to the touristic places (e.g. Eiffel Tower, Invalide, Concorde) and downtown shopping fashionable area in the Madelaine and Opera (Saint Honore, Lafayette, Printemps...etc...)
This also an excelent working place for attending business meetings or scientific/ cultural congresses or events.
Loved this Apartment. Location is excellent. Me, my cousins & friends (all girls) enjoyed our stay for a week. The place is very convenient to Tourist spots. It's a very safe, comfortable & cozy place to live in for vacation in Paris. It's accessible to all like, the Metro train station; Metro Bus; grocery store; restaurants; & shopping stores. The owner Dr.Morcos is very nice & easy to deal with. If I will have a chance to return to Paris with my family, I would gladly want to stay to this Apartment again.
Having previously stayed at hotels on all our vacations, this is the first time I tried an apartment rental. This place was recommended by a friend (who had stayed here before) and I must say, it did not disappoint. The size is just right and I like the amenities, most especially the free wifi. Moreover, shops, restaurants, a grocery, and the Metro are just literally 3-5 minutes by foot. There's no question that I would stay here again and would recommend it to friends.
This apartment was the perfect place my family. It is a little outside the downtown area so it's nice and quiet with lots of cafes and stores near by. Mrs. Morcos was a great person to work with, she answered all my questions with hours and she was very nice, personable the whole time. Should we return to Paris we would stay again.
This is the first review but in fact it was already the second time in this apartment. Being an engineer on assignment in France, sent abroad by my company, this time we arrived with our two daughters who are now 12 and 14 years old and who also enjoyed it very much to spend one week in the French capital.
In fact we didn't spent much time in the apartment but this is a good sign! We spent many hours in the city during daylight and in the evening we discovered the quarter around the Lourmel metro station on our own. And in fact this is something I really like very much in France, it's not necessary to always go to the famous addresses like 'Les deux Magots' etc in the heart of the city., but very often there are nice restaurants and bistrots just around the corner and I always found it worth to discover ones' own quarter of the town. For example the former Portuguese restaurant 'Vasco da Gama' is now an Italian one called 'Casa Roma' where you can find a good Pizza and just beside, still rue Vasco de Gama is a Catalan restaurant, named 'Au Derrick Catalan' with Spanish and Catalan food, located at the corner rue Vasco de Gama/rue Lecourbe. There's even a traditional French restaurant to be found in rue Vasco de Gama, it 's the 'L'os à Moelle' who offers a menu of several courses. Needless to say that we tried and tasted them all and just after leaving the Lourmel Metro station we discovered the bistro Le Buron for us, where we spend several hours - not just once but each night or evening just after leaving the metro we entered into this bistro to take a sundowner.
All in all it has been a fantastic week for us and everyone enjoyed it very much. Especially the girls had a lot of fun in discovering a European capital where they understood each word!
After now three years in France at an international school they are now quite fluent in French - and I hope that they will keep it
This apartment was just what my husband and I needed for our stay in Paris. It really is just as described - a furnished apartment. The kitchen is small but very useful, especially when you just want to have a night in. We made good use of the wifi looking up restaurants nearby. Mostly, we loved being able to call home since neither of our phones was equipped for the trip. The location was nice - it's a little bit outside the main tourism area, so you can find some really nice hidden gems in the neighborhood that aren't crowded. It was a short metro ride away from all the major monuments. There was also a nice grocery store just a short walk away, which was very convenient.
One of the best things about the apartment was working with the owner. He was extremely helpful and replied promptly to all of our (numerous) questions. The price was right, too - we would likely have paid more for a hotel and not had the benefits of the kitchen and the larger area.
I would definitely return, and I would recommend this place to my friends! There are only minor cons - being in a more residential area means fewer people speak English, though you can usually manage. I only speak a little French, and I probably needed to make that more clear to the concierge, because she spoke French for the remainder of our trip.
If you go, we highly recommend the boulangerie right down the street - Maison d'Auvrey. They made wonderful macaroons and croissants and had very reasonable prices. For restaurants we liked Axuria, Buerre Noisette, Pain Vin Fromage, and Bistrot Victoire. We really didn't go anywhere we didn't like, though.
Fully furnished apartment in Paris, grocery downstairs and bus line in front, not to mention 15 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower, free wi-fi and a very good rate to boot!...what more could you ask for? To my family of four plus a nephew and a neice, this place slept us good after each days enjoyable walk. The full kitchen allowed us to cook our favorite meals from fresh produce bought at a grocery two minutes away. The washer and drier kept our clothes fresh and clean. Clean sheets, clean towels, clean beds, clean everything! This is the place to stay in Paris. My wife and I highly recommend this apartment. We can't wait to rent this place again when we go back to Paris.
