Absolutely perfect Northern Michigan experience

We had such an amazing experience! The location is breathtaking with the most amazing sunsets!
The place had all the charm we’d hoped for, and the owner (Emily) was very nice and extremely easy to work with. Our family bonded, the kids played and my 3 year old niece experienced her first sunsets (we made it a nightly ritual so that there was a small chance she'd remember). You just get the sense that this place is filled love.
We had 4 adults and two kids, and the size of the home couldn't have been more perfect (could have easily fit two more children or adults). The master bedroom is separated from the rest of the house so it provided lots of privacy, and the fact that each bedroom had its own bathroom made it comfortable for all.
The yard is large enough to host games and family fun, and the rooms are large enough for everyone to gather with elbow space (I’m guessing 2500 to 3000 sq. ft). There’s also a fantastic mud / laundry room that you’ll find handy for sure. The path to the beach was fine and even fun for our young families, but I'd advise older folks to plan on driving down via the dirt road nearby. There's also great food at the Crowsnest, Goodhart Store, or Leg's Inn all within a short and beautiful drive through the tunnel of trees.
Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you to Emily, and to reassure anyone who's on the fence about renting her lovely home, it is well worth the memories you'll cherish.
