The kitchen & all appliance are new & offer everything you need for your cooking needs, from a gourmet meal to a quick breakfast before a day of sightseeing. Silestone countertops & a glass-top kitchen table give you plenty of room for food prep, while the pullout spray faucet, double undermount sink & dishwasher make cleanup easier. In the cabinets you'll find generous storage space for your food items & full china service for 16, along with juice, water & wine glasses. In case you prefer it for the little ones, we also keep plastic plates, bowls & cups. There are serving bowls & platters, along with big trays for taking food to one of the porches or out to the grill. We leave two picnic baskets with plasticware in the house for picnics at nearby Craggy Gardens on the Parkway. Our goal is to provide everything you need except for food. There is a glass top electric stove, along with microhood, blender, toaster oven, a spice rack & cooking oils Cooking equipment includes: stainless steel cookware, roasting pan with rack, a large enamelware roaster, cookie sheets, pizza pans, and a selection of cooking utensils & knives. There is also enough plastic storage for your leftovers & pitchers for your drinks. We keep paper products, trash bags & detergents for your use. There is also a double trashcan for you to separate your recyclables. Needless to say, you have a coffee pot, electric kettle & bean grinder for all those warm drinks!

(2) The double decks are what truly make this house special. With 800 square feet of porches & decking facing an awe-inspiring mountain view, sometimes it feels like a shame to go inside.
The upstairs covered porch has access from double sliding doors in the living room & from another glass door in the kitchen. Outside the kitchen is an eight person table & chairs for convenient outdoor dining. On the living room end of this porch is a rustic lobster trap table surrounded by rocking chairs. Between the two are four comfy all-weather white rocking chairs.
On the lower level covered porch you'll find a wrought iron table with four chairs, a porch swing & the hot tub with seating for six. Beside the hot tub is a 14 by 10 ft. sun porch with two zero gravity recliners. This is a nice spot for sunbathing or yoga. This porch is accessed from either the downstairs hallway or the king bedroom. It also has access from the driveway via a set of stairs.

We accept dogs under 30 pounds with prior approval & non-refundable pet fee. All dogs who come to the house must be treated with both flea & tick medicine prior to arrival & must be flea & tick free before your visit. No other pets besides dogs accepted and we cannot allow more than two dogs.

We have four little girls, so we've tried to make the house as family-friendly as possible. We provide gates for the indoor & outdoor stairs, a pac-n-play, a high chair & games & toys for the little ones.

Any time of day, any time of year you'll have endless views from the 6-person hot tub on the downstairs porch. Sunset from the tub is a great end to any day. If you're an early riser, watching the sunrise creep through the valley is a spectacular beginning to any day.
