Enjoy this beautifully decorated and spacious new 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom screened pool home in NW Cape Coral (suburb of Fort Myers). This home is professionally decorated with upscale furnishings and artwork. Enjoy Florida at a reasonable cost and still be within 1 1/2 hr drive to 44 different public beaches and many other great places to visfrit. The 12x24 oval shaped pool with paved patio has a private screened lanai with patio set, lounge chairs, refrigerator for your drinks, and a gas BBQ.

The 2000 sq. ft. spacious home has a large, open concept family room overlooking the lanai; three glass sliding panels completely disappear to open the living area into the lanai. The pool suddenly becomes part of your living room. There is a 42” HDTV with local and network HD channels and Blue Ray DVD/VHS player. A nice selection of movies and music CD’s are provided for your enjoyment. A separate office provides a place to work on your laptop or other paperwork. Free Wifi and Netflix movies.

Beach and Water Activites: There are wonderful beaches all along southern Florida gulf shore. South Florida so no effect from the BP Amoco oil spill and the beaches are clean and in excellent condition. Their about 10 nice beaches within a 30-90 minutes drive of the house. We have beach chairs, cabana shelters, umbrella and cooler for you beach outings. In our guest book you will find an excellent beach resource with all the beaches, their unique characteristics, directions, etc.

If you like bay of gulf fishing their are many outfitters and guides on Pine Island which is just four miles from the house. The waters around Cape Coral are well known for fishing of all kind especially tarpon. The house includes a free sit on top tandem kayak with life jackets and paddles. (Please get special instructions before using)

Sailing activities are provided at Burnt Store Marina a world famous sailing provider.

The neighborhood is very quite and peaceful with full time neighbors all around.

Car: necessary

You can tour the area and visit the beautiful Sanibel Island, Marco Island and the rich and famous in Naples or do the tourist beach in Fort Myers. For a trip back in time, be sure to visit Matlacha and Pine Island (just 8 miles away). There are many golf courses with several nice ones just three miles from the house. If you want a longer road trip, visit Disney Word in Orlando or Miami (each only 2.5 hours away). Fort Myers offers interesting sites like the Thomas Edison Home site.

Shopping is everywhere and convenient from the best of national chains to the huge Flea Masters market in Fort Myers. Boating access is easy with a city boat ramp with ocean access one mile away or Burnt Store Marina about five miles with boat slips.

Golf: There are plenty of golf courses within a few miles of our home. Our guest book will get you started on some nice ones.

  • Must pay the deposit of $500 to confirm the reservation. 50% of the rental rate is due up to 60 days before arrival depending on when reservation is made. The final costs are due before arrival. 11% Local tax will be charged. A cleaning fee of $125 applies to all rentals. Optional weekly cleaning while occupied is $100 per week. Cancellation within one week before stay with $100 booking cancellation fee. Rates are subjected to change without prior notice. The neighborhood is a quite residential area with permanent neighbors on both sides. Their are two adult bicycles and nice safe roads with bicycle lanes for riding. Wonderful Home

We just finished a wonderful 3 month stay in this well equipped, spacious comfortable pool home. The home is situated in a quiet neighborhood half way between Punta Gorda/Port Charlotte to the north and Ft Myers Beach/Sanibel Island to the south and Pine Island just minutes away.
All three living areas of the home open to the pool that is always comfortably warm. The large covered lanai is where we ate many meals cooked on the gas grill or in the well equipped kitchen. There are many take out places nearby including fresh seafood from the fisherman's docks on Pine Island.
The owners, Steve and Bonnie, we're great to work with and made our stay easy and trouble free.

i recently rented this beautiful home in cape coral, fl for a mother/daughter vacation. we were extremely pleased with the home and the correspondence with the owners. i have rented many vacation homes in florida and this home by far was the most memorable. you can see from the details of the home that the owners put a lot of love and care into the house. the house was immaculate and extremely well stocked. there were items for the kitchen, bathrooms, beach and pool that we would never have expected to be stocked. everything in the home was labeled and very easy to find. the solar pool made a huge difference in the temperature of the pool in the cooler season and made the home even more enjoyable. the home is in a very quiet and safe neighborhood without the hassles of the usual tourist areas. we mostly enjoyed eating at the house but there are many restaurants and shopping close by. we enjoyed many of the gulf beaches and wild life including naples, sanibel, captiva, bowman's and bunche beaches. we would highly recommend this home to anyone who is looking for a "home away from home," and would like to thank steve and bonnie for sharing their beautiful house with us.

Wonderful Home

The house was wonderful!! When we walked in we couldn't believe our eyes. The house looks so much better in person then the pictures show. Very clean. We were right at home. The house had everything we needed. We had a great time in the swimming pool which felt like bath water when you entered. The only thing that was wrong was the 4th bedroom. It had a cot which was so small to hold anyone, but we made due. I would recommend this house to everyone!!!
Owner's Response: I am glad you enjoyed our vacation home. We try to keep it as clean and nice as our full time home. We limit the number staying in the house to seven because of the accommodations in the fourth bedroom/office. It works better for a young person. Thanks for your recommendation.

A very well cared for home with many added extras.
The quality furnishings and cleanliness reflect the high standards set by the owner, both inside and outside the property.
The solar heated pool was delightful.
We found the neighbourhood quiet, safe and friendly and the owner was responsive to any queries.
The Cape Coral area has a perfect mix of different things to do - beautiful beaches, parks and nature reserves with amazing wildlife. Alternatively, many major stores and restaurants are all within a reasonable distance.
The added attractions of the major theme parks in Orlando and Tampa made our vacation the most diverse yet!
If you are looking for a very comfortable, competitively priced vacation home in SW Florida, I would suggest that you give this one some serious thought.
