Meet the owner/manager

I'm Mira K., owner and property manager. I have a very personal interest in this property. Originally built in 1896, my wife’s family were the owners of this apartment house, when in 1948 it was confiscated by the communist government and they were forced to leave. But following the 1989 Velvet Revolution, it was returned to the family. Starting in 2005, many of the apartments have been completely remodeled (with me as director and sometimes, demolition expert and trash man). The house’s nickname is Liliovka (Little Lily), but officially it is called “U zlatého šípu” (House at the Golden Arrow). I was in the hotel business for many years, so I know how to make sure your stay is enjoyable.

Beautiful apartment in the heart of Prague

  • 5 of 5

Great location - real heart of old Prague, 3 minutes to the Karl's bridge and old clocks and 1-2 minutes to good caffe and restaurants, great apartment, good equipment, comfortable beds, and simply extraordinary host! Mira met us at central railway station, has shown all that interested us, and when we had a problem he offered us help and helped us! A huge thanks to him.

We were with two children 4 and 7 years - no problem to get to the 4th floor and on the contrary, it was a mini fitness after visiting the numerous cafes and restaurants in Prague:). We hope to come again and will strongly recommend this apartment and it's Host Mira to our friends!

Love the apartment, love Prague

  • 5 of 5

Great service with pickup at airport and drop off at train station on checkout day. Upon arrival, my son didn't get his luggage. Mira followed up with the airline and had it delivered right to our flat.

The apartment is very spacious, 2 bedroom / 2 baths, large living and eating area, with additional bedding for at least 2 more people. Beautiful view from interesting window looking down to the cobblestone walkway. Love the beams in the unit, just watch your head!!

Its location is excellent. Less than 5 minute walk to Charles Bridge, Old Town Square where the Astronomical Clock was, and more. We were able to go everywhere by foot. We did take a train up to the castle, but it only took 10 minutes to walk back down to the bridge.

Just a warning to people have trouble climbing steps. The apartment is on the 4th floor with no elevator. There are 10 steps from the front door to the entrance and each floor is quite high. So be prepare for it.

Overall, excellent value.

Great Place to Stay

  • 5 of 5

My friend and I stayed here for a week and absolutely loved the place. The owner picked us up at the train station when we arrived and had an associate take us to the airport when we left, SO convenient. Like its noted, there is no elevator but we didnt have a problem with that. The two bedrooms are very spacious, and I loved having the privacy of two bathrooms. I chose this place because we needed a washer WITH a dryer which is quite rare. Took forever to dry our clothes but I was just happy to have one since I know its not common in Europe. I know others have stated that the WiFi was hit or miss but my friend and I were both on our gadgets and didnt have any problems. Only thing I will agree with is the lack of cooking supplies. Couldnt find a toaster. But wasnt really worried about it since we were so close to everything that we either ate out or grabbed food to take to the apt. The location is excellent, and the owners recommendation of the 'Club Architect' restaurant was very good. I would recommend staying here.

Great Apartment

  • 4 of 5

A wonderful apartment, right in the heart of the old town, with everything on your doorstep. The apartment was immaculate and exactly as pictured, a very cool space! The owner had us picked up at the airport in the evening and even took us to the train station for a very early train on the day of departure. It does say there is no elevator, but be ready for a long climb up to the top loft floor! Wifi was good in one part of the living room only. Overall we were very happy here and I would recommend this apartment.

Great Apartment in Historic Old Town

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed here for 5 days in July and had a wonderful time. The apartment couldn't be in a better location. We were pleasantly surprised. It is located in the heart of Old Town. The location is amazing. About 5 minutes walking distance to Old Town Square and Charles Bridge. It's located in an old historic beautiful building from the 1800's on the top floor. Great views of the square. Lots of windows and sunlight. Restaurants and cafes and shopping as soon you walk outside the door but you could never hear any noise from it. Huge Tesco grocery store 5 minutes away as well as tram station. We did a lot of walking and sight seeing and it was nice to come home to our "own" place and relax and be able to eat some meals at home. The apartment is very spacious. The photos doesn't do it justice. It has 2 huge bedrooms, kitchen, living room and 2 bathrooms. There is an additional bed in a nook in the living room and the couch was large enough to sleep on. It has a fridge, stove, microwave, washer and dryer, LCD TV and Wifi. The owner and his family were very helpful and picked us up and dropped us off at the bus station. We were extremely happy with our stay here and will definitely contact this owner for future visits. Prague is a beautiful city and we cant wait to visit again.
