Six Weeks of Bliss !

We just returned from the best summer vacation of our lives - six weeks at the Nichols wonderful lakeside condo on Forsest Lake. Toni and Ricky were most engaging hosts, truly concerned about our having a good time at their home as well as assisting us in enjoying points of interest throughout southern New England. They could not have been more attentive to our needs. Favorite activities at the lake included kayaking, canoeing, frequent trips around the lake on the Nichols' gorgeous pontoon boat, dinners on the deck overlooking the lake and evening fires ! The time spent in the Winchester/Keene area this summer afforded us much opportunity to explore: Yankee Candle and Kringle Candle flagship stores, hiking up Mt. Monadnock, checking out all of the area's covered bridges, enjoying several local fairs and day trips to Boston, Dartmouth College, King Arthur Flour, the Vermont Country Store, St. Gaudin's National Park and much, much more. Great people, great time - you can't go wrong !
