Wonderful Cartagena

The property is quite nice with three floors including a marvelous rooftop porch with a view of the ocean for relaxing. It is very centrally located within the walls of the old city and very easy walking distance to all the interesting parts of the city. The rooms were quite comfortable and the owner was extremely helpful in suggesting things do do and see in Cartagena. The only slight donwside is there is a road right outside the apartment that a few times a day can get crowded with tour buses and the diesel fumes are noticeable inside if the windows are open. But overall I would say it was an excellent value for our money and the owner's help was invaluable. Cartagena is a wonderful city to see incredible architecture, eat gourmet food and shop in wonderful shops. Our favorite breakfast and dessert place was Milas, just three blocks from the condo. If you go out early in the morning there's few if any tourists and it's a great time to take pictures of all the very well preserved buildings. We visited Bogota, Santa Marta and Cartagena on our trip and Cartagena was by far our favorite place.
