This unique property is surrounded by the Kenai Peninsula National Moose Refuge offering an abundance of wildlife viewing both on the property and in the surrounding area. The world famous Kenai River borders the property offering premium on site fishing.

Property is located approximately 3 miles from the Soldotna airport and 5 miles from downtown Soldotna.

You are close enough to town should you want to go in, you can go shop the galleries or charter fish in Homer, take glacier cruises out of Seward, with many little tourists stops along the way. However, once you're here you may just want to stay. We are at a great location to travel to other destinations on the peninsula or 2.5 hours to Anchorage but we often find that once we reach the river our destination has been met. It is a great place to just let everything else go, be with friends and family, watch and listen to the river, observe eagles and (the occasional visiting) wildlife, and walk down to the river when you hear the call, 'Fish On!'

There are also stairs going down the little bluff to make it a simple walk down to the river. The dock also has a wonderful bench (no pic...yet) on it.

We stayed in the house the first week of August. The house was amazing. Great view and we were lucky enough to have some great fishing of the dock for reds. If your going to stay in Soldotna, especially late in the season this is the place to stay. Great owners helped us out with everything we needed. Location was perfect. Far enough out of town to fell like you were in Alaska but close enough to down to be convenient. This trip is mainly for fishing for our family and this is a perfect base camp.

This cabin was absolutely wonderful!

This cabin is truely a treasure that we have been searching for since we began coming to Soldotna. It has all the ammenities of home and provides plenty of room to comfortably sleep and fit out entire family. Our family loves to fish for reds in July and this home has a beautiful aluminum dock with a cleaning table that gave plenty of room for us all to fish together. We will look forward to returning to this cabin year after year!

A California family who loves Alaska!

Our week at this beautiful home on the Kenai river could not have been any more perfect! From almost every room of this exceptional home you have a view of the river running and nature at its best. Absolutely spectacular! Our freezer is stocked with halibut and sockeye salmon from this memorable week in Alaska and we had so much fun fishing from the owner's dock steps away from the home. David and Sheri, thank you for being so very helpful and accommodating to us...........and thank you for allowing us to come back next year!

Great Cabin, Location, River, Fishing, Owner

My wife and I spent 3 nights in this beautiful cabin on the river. The owner made every effort to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed for a great stay. Th cabin seemed like new, was clean, and well furnished with a great view of the river. The dock on the river offered great fishing with a nice cleaning station. We enjoyed watching a couple eagles fly up and down the river and saw several moose in the area. You can't beat the location - we made day trips to Homer and Seward for halibut fishing.

We had a great stay and look forward to future visits. Thanks!
