About David Covell
Pappy is a retired us marine fighter pilot. He also sold a few IBM computer systems a long time ago. He is still married to his original wife of 47 years (it is still a trial room-mate type thing). Mrs pappy taught second grade before retiring several years ago. Pappy actually lives in this cabin, and only goes down to Atlanta to his other home when you are staying here. He'll be back after you leave so do not burn down or trash this cabin or pappy will become angry!

Guestbook comments from the owner
Had a great time on our visit. Myself, my husband and 4 children were there. Plenty of space. Lots of stuff in Man Cave downstairs, so I kept the little one on the top two levels but other than that it was great. Lots of books, films, games, and stuff to do.
If you aren't used to winding mountain roads it can be a bit stressful. We were there with snow and ice, other than that you should be fine. Pappy met us there and showed us around, which was nice. Great antiques collection. To die for quilts.
If you are going to the river prepare for a climb. It doesn't look too hard. Pappy said it might require stopping on the way back up and it did. It is not for those of us who think we are still 19.
We will definitely be back for a visit in the future.
