Welcome to the Hilltop Hideaway.

Located on the West Shore of Flathead Lake just south of Lakeside on Angel Point, this property provides a perfect escape from the every day. Wonderful lake and mountain views overlooking the largest freshwater lake west of the Mississippi.

This recently built 1 bedroom 1 bathroom carriage house apartment boasts nearly 1000 square feet of interior space and almost 300 square feet of multi-level outdoor decking. There is public lake access within short walking distance for an afternoon swim or kayak.

A large open fully equipped kitchen with dining and living area are complimented by a lovely wet bar. Full size refrigerator, dishwasher, gas cooktop and double ovens.

Limitless recreational opportunities in the area including Glacier National Park (approximately 45 minute drive). Visit the quaint village of Bigfork, charming City of Whitefish or Kalispell all of which are a short drive away. Enjoy a day of golfing at one of the numerous area golf courses or explore the area on the miles or trails in our state and national parks. For the avid sportsman, charter a fishing trip on Flathead Lake in Lakeside or take a lake tour on the Far West Boat Cruises. The list goes on….

I was born in the Flathead Valley and have spent much of my life enjoying the area. I will be happy to make suggestions to new travelers to the area on things to do and see. My goal is to make your stay enjoyable and hopefully see you back soon.

The Chalet is well positioned along the NW side of Flathead Lake and it is well stocked for comfort, fun, and that "at home" feeling which helps the traveler instantly forget he is a stranger in a beautiful new place. In our view, Dan has established himself as a first-rate host and we not only will return, but feel obliged to tell our brothers and friends to book this vacation rental. Dan was very easy to work with.
Five stars without reservation.

There is so much to do at Flathead, walking, swimming, boating etc. The time just flew by. The house has all the conviences for gourmet meals, the grill is fantastic, and everything is first class. The view from the deck is breathtaking and ever changing. The deer, birds, and local wild life make it a great treat to enjoy the outdoor experiences.
Dan is the perfect host who went the extra mile to ensure our vacation was stress free when our car developed problems. When we return to Glacier Park area we will definitely stay with him again.

Sometimes the property can be a disappointment after seeing pictures and descriptions on the internet. That is not the case with this great cottage on Angel Point! The place was spotless, exceptionally equipped and so convenient to all that the Flathead Lake area has to offer. The house is very private and we loved the deck and all of the beautiful flowers. We also enjoyed having all of the comforts of home, including WiFi and satellite TV. We will definitely return!

The Carriage House was new, clean, well furnished and well designed. We could relax because the layout was perfect for two with dishwasher, washer & dryer, lovely bathroom and great deck. The daily deer visits and the close proximity of the swimming access was welcome. Lakeside has it's own charm and is close enough to Glacier National park, Kalispell, Whitefish, and Big Fork to have variety of activities.
Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Arrived on July 1st and were struck by the beautiful view from the deck onto the lake. Cabin was stocked with everything you could need and owner was very helpful and provided us with everything we could ask for. Enjoyed the scenery around the lake and would recommend this rental to anyone!
