This house has been in my family since 1985. My parents bought it when myself, and then later, my two brothers attended the U of M. After we all graduated, my parents were ready to sell. My husband and I could not bear to lose this house so we purchased it.
The Owner purchased this house in 1985
We love Missoula and this beautiful craftsman house. It is our home away from home. Since we are not in Missoula year round we decided to make it a vacation rental so we can afford to keep it and share it with others.
The location is perfect. We park our cars when we arrive and don't need to use them again until we leave town.
The house is exactly as described. It is perfectly clean, well maintained and comfortable. It was more spacious than I expected. The back patio was a perfect place for a late day drink. The location is perfect for walking to town or to campus. I enjoyed being able to walk to restaurants and shopping in the Hip Strip area. The owner was always helpful in answering questions. I highly recommend this property and hope to stay here next time I am visiting Missoula.
We stay at this beautiful Bungalow for the month of September and it was great! Centrally located and can walk to downtown or the Grizzlies Game. Craftsmanship of this house makes you feel like you are back in the 1920's. Beautiful hardware floors and complete new washer/dryer in the basement. Great for cooking out also. The best thing is the porch and you can view the townspeople walking by ever day. We will stay there again for sure----Tom and Sharon
This 1920's craftsman house is well maintained in it's original condition. It is conveniently located to a variety of venues in downtown Missoula. Most are within walking distance of the house. Our stay was very enjoyable and we will stay there again when we visit family who live there.
We loved calling this our Missoula "home away from home" during our daughter's graduation from UM. The location is perfect for walking downtown, to restaurants, and to campus. Beautiful inside and out and the owners were are nice and easy to work with. Will definitely stay here again in the future!
The house is beautiful, the neighborhood is quiet and the location couldn't be better.
We spent a wonderful long weekend at this beautiful home, and enjoyed every minute. It's beautifully decorated with period furnishings, but with all the amenities you'd want for a trip. We especially enjoyed having a kitchen, where we cooked a big dinner for our son and his UM friends. And the fireplace was nice too, when it snowed on Mother's Day! We also enjoyed being able to walk downtown. I hope this lovely home is available on our future visits to Missoula.
