Blue Ridge Cabin Rental Photos and Description
Classic A-frame cabin with mountain views and modern updates.
Although the triangle shape of the A-frame has been present throughout the history of architecture, it surged in popularity around the world in the post-World War II era, from roughly the mid-1950s through the 1970s. This example built in 1984 has been completely modernized in 2013, while retaining the rustic charm and warmth that make it such an ideal mountain vacation home.
Located in an all-cabin development just minutes from downtown Blue Ridge with access to Benton Mackaye hiking trail, streams, stocked lakes, and all that North Georgia has to offer. You know you are somewhere special when you cross the covered bridge and follow the winding path of a stream as you enter the community.
Mountain Outpost #171 greets guests with its original Pecky Cypress interior, 20' ceilings in the great room, stacked stone wood burning fireplace, dark hardwood floors, comfortable contemporary furnishings, well equipped custom kitchen (incl. dishwasher, ice maker, smooth-top range, microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker and granite counters), 47' LED HDTV w/Netflix & Hulu Plus, cable, DVD player, and hi-speed WiFi internet. Two bedrooms with queen size beds (lower BR includes dresser and built-in wardrobe, upper BR includes dresser and hall closet), large renovated bath with tub/shower combo, and separate laundry room with full size stackable W/D.
Enjoy year-round mountain and wooded views from the windows in the great room, the SpaCrest hot tub, or the expansive rear and front decks - including a second level 'Happy Hour Tower' seating area for the best vantage point.
