Casita Blanca is a small complex located directly on the Caribbean Sea in the tranquil fishing village of Puerto Morelos. Enjoy Casita Blanca's beautiful gardens, tiled swimming pool, lounge chairs, palapas, and the fabulous beach where you can swim, kayak, and snorkel. Casita Blanca's managers, Roberto and Selene, are charming and friendly Spanish- and English-speaking hosts who will assist you with your vacation needs.
You can walk into town, either along the beach or the road. Watch the fishermen come in with their catches at the end of each day, or arrange for first-class diving or snorkeling along the coral reef, just a half mile off shore. The town also has fantastic local restaurants, a well stocked & reasonably priced grocery store, an English-language bookstore, and artisan markets. Have a massage at a local spa, or even out on the beach. Take a yoga class, or visit The Little Cooking School to learn how to prepare local specialties. Need more action? Its an easy drive north to Cancun (about 30 minutes) or south to Playa del Carmen (about 30 minutes) for shops, people watching, and nightlife. Or, head south along the Riviera Maya to see its famed archaeological sites including Tulum, and ecological parks (e.g., Xcaret, Xel-Há). There is no end to the delights that await you in this beautiful part of the world!
Other Activities: Kite surfing, diving and snorkeling along the second longest reef in the world (Mesoamerican Barrier Reef) 500 meters offshore from Casita Blanca. The TPC Cancun Golf course is only 10 minutes away. Available nearby area: pre-Columbian Mayan ruins (e.g., Tulum, Chichen Itza), a reptile/crocodile zoo. Also found throughout the area are the cenotes, fresh water swimming holes formed by collision of an ancient meteor, and the foundation of the Mayan civilization.
From June to September, Isla Holbox (about 45 minutes North) based Turistica Moguel offers day and multi-day trips to swim with the with whale sharks (holboxislandtours.com). The tours start at $95 a day. The whale shark is the largest of all sharks and they appear to be single-minded in looking for Krill and plankton that make them nearly oblivious to humans.

Our family Is from the cold winters of Michigan. We have vacationed all over the world for sunny tranquil beaches. We vacationed at Casita Blanca last year and loved it so much we bought a place.
Owner/Manager purchased this condo in 2013
Why Owner/Manager chose Puerto Morelos
The peaceful tranquility of the location and the amenities of Casita Blanca are outstanding. The consistent weather allows us to visit anytime and have warm beach days when we want it.
What makes this condo unique
Our condo is simple protected corner of the complex. It has a porch and a palapa (big Mexican palm tree umbrella for shade) out front. You are not seen by everyone else in the complex unless you choose to go out by the pool or ocean.
