CHEERFUL UPDATED BEACH CONDO IN MYRTLE BEACH RESORT

We have visited Myrtle Beach every year for the past several years; however, this was our first stay at MB Resort. This condo is nice, very nicely decorated, gives it a very "vacationy" feel. The pictures are a bit deceiving, it is smaller than we expected. It was fine for us, but had another family decided to stay with us it would have been a bit cramped. I was not impressed with the cleanliness, I think the cleaning service could do a much better job. I am sure they are trying to clean a lot of condos in little time, but the floor was very dirty upon our arrival. If they swept/mopped at all, it was a quick job and only the middle of the floor, and the balcony was full of sand. The bathrooms were okay, seemed to be pretty clean. As for the resort, it was nice to have all the pools, restaurants/snack shops, etc., and was nice to be able to walk to the beach; however, the beach is very crowded due to size of the resort. The entire beach in front of the resort is lined with rental chairs/umbrella's. Unless you plan on renting a chair/umbrella daily, you will not find a good spot on the beach to watch your children play or swim. And, behind the rental chairs are canopy's, EVERYWHERE. We ended up walking a good distance away from the front of the resort to get a spot on the beach in order to watch our son play. We even drove to a different beach a couple of days, which defeated the purpose of paying the prices to stay on the beach. If you don't mind the crowded beach and pools, the resort is nice. Another problem we encountered is the crowded parking lot, several evenings we came back to find all parking spots were full. We drove around the entire resort and could not find one open parking spot anywhere. My husband ended up driving back out to the guard shack and asking the security guards what our options were if there were no open parking spots. Fortunately, the security guards are very nice/friendly and one of them escorted us to a grassy spot where we could park and ensured us he would let the next shift know he allowed us to park there. It was very nice of him, but also very inconvenient after coming back from a long evening out and spending an hour just trying to figure out where to park at the condo.

This condo is everything we were looking for!!! Our stay was great, it felt just like another home away from home. Clean, well furnished, close to the beach and only minutes away from all attractions! Thank you so much for offering such a nice place. We truly enjoyed it.

This condo was truly a home away from home. A beautiful place well kept that made my family completely feel at ease. Exactly everything we were looking for in a rental. Marian and Mike could not have been friendlier and accommadating. If I return to Myrtle Beach in the future this would be my first choice to stay! Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful place!
