Photos and Description of the Nantucket Town vacation house rental
House, 2 Bedrooms + Library, 3 Baths, (Sleeps 4-5)

This late Victorian home has been lovingly restored by its current designer owners and has been their principle residence for more than 10 years.

Now retired, we would like to share our home for two weeks anytime from early August through mid-September.

Furnished with a mix of old and new, it features a Steinway grand piano and furniture by George Nakashima. It has been featured in magazine articles and decorator books. There is wireless internet and HD cable TV.

The first floor has kitchen, informal dining, formal dining, living room, full bath with shower and library.

The second floor has two bedrooms, office and a laundry. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and is en suite with showered bathroom. A large bathroom with both a whirlpool bath and a shower is adjacent to the guest bedroom which has side-by-side twin beds.

The cook's kitchen, designed by the owners who previously were restauranteurs, features a professional range and all the gadgets a serious cook desires. The kitchen also has its own seating and dining areas and access to front and rear gardens. A private patio off the kitchen is a quiet repose for relaxing and dining.

Off-street parking and a large fenced perennial garden compliments this very comfortable in-town home convenient to everything Nantucket has to offer. Possible Jeep Wrangler rental if you need a car while on island.

This is my home when not in Key West.

NOTE: This home is available ONLY for two consecutive weeks in either August or September.

What makes this house unique

Less than 5-minute walk to Main St stores & restaurants. Located in historic area. Off-street parking at side of house is a bonus in parking-challenged Nantucket town.
