A beautiful retreat with the White River National Forest in our back yard, yet only 5 minutes to Peak 9 in Breckenridge. Located high up on a quiet, dead-end street, our home backs to wonderful hiking trails in the National Forest and has gorgeous views of the mountains out front. Easy access to town from our paved road & all utilities are underground for unobstructed views of the mountains! Get up early and watch the full moon setting behind Mt. Quandary while the sunrise turns the mountain blush and scarlet.

Enjoy our Bright, Sunny home Summer or Winter and it is just 5 minutes south of Peak 9 at Breckenridge. We are in town and parked at the mountain in just minutes out our door during the busy winter season! Down Hill skiing and riding is some of the best on the Planet! Visit Copper Mountain, just 20 minutes away or Keystone and A-basin world class ski resorts-all within an easy 30 minute drive. After a day on the slopes, there is a covered sun porch with a cozy new Hot Tub for your quiet evening enjoyment.

Summer Shopping, Fishing, Hiking, Rafting...All that Breckenridge and Summit County has to offer is so close. The Outlets at Silverthorne are a beautiful 20 minute drive, where bargains on Coach and Calvin Klein are waiting for you. Lake Dillon sailing/kayaking/fishing is only 15 minutes away and Fantastic Blue River Fishing and Hiking are right outside our door!

Special amenities include a new Super Automatic Espresso/Cappuccino machine. Enjoy a special morning blend on the deck outside with the beautiful view of the Aspen Grove and Quandry Mountain. We also have a Computer Available to all Guests, as well as WIFI at the house and Wii Sport.

Our home has 4 Queen sized beds and a huge sectional in the TV room with a 50' television. The big screen TV is in the media room and there is a flat screen in the living room. 2 of the bedrooms have Sony TV and DVD players. There are 4 TVs/3 DVDs/2 Stereos total. The Kitchen is stocked with great cutlery, dishes & every utensil needed for great meals on our Gas Range. Dog bedding is provided and dog dishes are also on hand at the house.

We provide a great guide to all that Summit County has to offer - and even a map on how to get to the genuine South Park Colorado!

About Christine Armitage

An avid skier, my dream has been to own a home in Colorado for many years. I chose Blue River, just south of Breckenridge because of its wonderful scenery and proximity to town. Just 5 minutes way from all the action, yet we can come home and enjoy serene beauty and wonderful hiking trails just outside our door.

Our home is so close to Breckenridge and all the other great ski areas. Copper Mountain is just 20 minutes away and the Legend, Arapahoe Basin, my favorite spot for all things skiing and living is just 30 minutes. Just south of Blue River is Park County, Colorado, home of South Park and many great fishing spots and horse ranches.

What makes this house unique

The hiking trails at the end of the street are among our home's best features. In the winter it is a quiet, winter wonderland with sun dappled snow all around. In the summer, the water fall hike is absolutely beautiful

Notes: Fantastic location with the National Forest out back, yet only 5 minutes to Breckenridge and Peak 9 parking. We have a trail at the bottom of the street that leads to an old gold mining town up the mountain. Across the main road are many other hiking trails and the fishing tarn is a just minutes down the road - an easy bike ride or drive.

Beautiful house!!

Our family of 7 just spent 5 days at this house. It was more than we had hoped for. Just 5 minutes from Breckenridge, a few hundred yards from hiking, and the house was amazing. The only negative was we weren't able to stay longer. We hope to go back next year.

This is the cleanest rental I have ever seen. Can't wait to get back again. Fantastic spot just outside Breckenridge makes it easy to enjoy the wilderness and the town.
