Enjoy your stay in a protected monument! Modern luxury in a Wilhelminian style building and its hunting lodge, with large rooms ideal for congregation meetings, relaxation and solemnities. Bedrooms for 10 people are on the upper level of the villa. The next-door hunting lodge is divided into two vacation homes, each giving space for 4 people.

Through a separate entrance in the tower of the hunting lodge you reach a bright, spacious 3-room-apartment (75 sqm). From the living room you can enjoy a fantastic view over the Brunnental. The apartment is comfortable equipped. Hobby cooks will be pleased about the complete kitchen with a view over the garden with its herbs that are free to use. In the garden you have access to seating areas/ terraces to relax. The rear garden door brings you directly in the wood. The hunting lodge is on one property with the Villa Katharina. There is even the possibility to use the sauna /sun bed in the basement of the Villa.

Bad Freienwalde is located about 50 kilometres east of Berlin and 10 kilometres from the border of Poland. Coming from Berlin you reach a low mountain range with deciduous forests, lakes and the charming contrast of the Oderbruch's plain scenery. In the small town of Bad Freienwalde the oldest health resort of Brandenburg is located. Directly adjoined to the backyard are magnificent old woods - recommended for walking-tours on the footsteps of the famous German poet Theodor Fontane. In the Oderbruch countryside, that stretches till the border of Poland, you experience a plain landscape, homeland of a rich population of birds. Easy to reach by car are the 'Parstein-lake' (motorboats are prohibited) in the biosphere reserve Schorfheide / Chorin with a famous old monastery and possibilities to bathe and for water sports. Public swimming pool, ski-jump and shopping possibilities can be reached easy by foot in 8 minutes.
