I rented this house for my 70th birthday party turned out fantastic because it appears the house was designed with entertaining in mind. The house is immaculate and the views spectacular. People are still calling to tell me what a great idea it was to rent this lovely home. If you want a party or just get away and enjoy the peaceful days and amazing sunsets, you can't go wrong with this choice.

We stayed here in early Sept 11', right after hurricane Irene came thru town. The owners and staff put in many hrs to get rental ready for us, we appreciated it so much, our family had a wonderful time, and everyone was very comfortable. Location is perfect if you love the water lapping at the edge of your deck. My father In-Law wad able to fish from his wheelchair on the back deck at high tide. Milford is a great place to spend any family vacation. We will stay here again next year for sure!!!!

BEACH HOUSE: The website photos and description of this property represent it quite accurately. It has been well kept and is wonderfully equipped, right down to central A/C for those hot summer nights when the breeze might die and the hot/cold outdoor shower after a spin in the tandem kayak, This home is truly ready to move in, As it is a beach house, the deck and family room that look out onto Long Island Sound will likely be the focus of your stay. The views from both are outstanding. Except for the Master Bedroom, which is generous, the other bedrooms are small though adequate. Be aware that the "beach" is definitely not sand and you will need "watershoes" to negotiate the rocks that lead to the water's edge. The neighborhood is well located with respect to access to retail and it also offers nice opportunities for seaside strolls.

MANAGEMENT: I can not say enough about the professionalism and dedication of this property's management. As we were going to rent for one entire month we visited the house during the winter of 2011 before signing our summer lease to be sure this beach house would work well for us. The beach and deck were covered with over a foot of snow and the owner's rep representative was quick to point out the "no sand" vs. "rocky beach" issue. My point--her integrity is extraordinary. She completely understood that we wanted no surprises, no misrepresentations, and no misunderstandings. We made several requests that would be unique to our stay for 4 weeks, none were outrageous but the property manager made sure that prior to moving in every single request was honored with no reminder necessary and no hassle. As is inevitable, over the course of our one month summer stay a few bumps in the road presented themselves...a brief loss of phone and internet service, a running toilet , a stuck drape, and a sticky lock.These were promptly and competently attended to with understanding and a smile. We really sensed that the management treated us as friends and as such made every effort to facilitate our enjoyment of the property. In summary, this is a quality property, honestly represented on this website, with excellent management. It was a memorable extended getaway for summer 2011.
