The traditional: Pine floors, slate/brick fireplace, front porch, clawfoot tub.

The contemporary: center island kitchen with dishwasher, sunrooom with skylights, central heating, satellite TV. A 5-minute walk to Turkey Cove, a peaceful tidal inlet perfect for kayaking/canoeing or a swim in the warm, shallow water. Downstairs: Living/Diningroom with fireplace. Dining table seats 8 comfortably. Expanded kitchen with breakfast area. Full bath (shower) with washer/dryer. Large sunroom with vaulted ceiling, skylights, ceiling fan.

Upstairs: Spacious master bedroom (double bed), 2nd bedroom (double) and 3rd bedroom (two twins). Full tile bath with restored clawfoot tub/shower. Carpeted throughout.

The Setting: 1+ wooded acre with sunset views of Turkey Cove. Picnic table and barbecue grill.

The Area: Centrally located on the St. George peninsula between Tenants Harbor and Port Clyde. 10 minutes to the Monhegan Ferry, Marshall Point Lighthouse, Drift Inn Beach. 20 Minutes to Rockland and the Farnsworth Art Museum, Lighthouse Museum, Owl's Head Transportation Museum, and more. Plenty of shopping and entertainment opportunities for the entire family.

You have clearly put so much effort and thought into making this a home away from home. I think the big pillows on the sunroom sofa were my favorite! There are just so many cozy details around the whole house. We have been here only 48 hours but feel a world away from everything! Thank you.

A warm thank you for a great home away from home. The house is filled with all the comforts we're used to and has built-in character to boot. The kids enjoyed the entire trip, especially the cove.
