If you want to take in Hollywood Studio tours, visit the Getty, or catch a Lakers game at the Staples center, they are all a short drive away. Washer/dryer, refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker and grinder with all kitchenette needs make your stay trouble free. Comfortable bed,easy lounging inside and outside makes relaxing right here, at the ‘Cozy Cottage near Universal City’ an easy pick. Update your friends and family back home while basking in the early morning sunshine in the kitchen or the patio while enjoying that first cup of coffee. Or, visit our local favorite :Aroma cafe (see photo). After coffee, go shopping at one of the many one-of-a kind boutiques along the street.

We recommend auto rental for Old Town Pasadena, & Long Beach (boats to Catalina, Aquarium, Queen Mary),. A 30-40 Minute drive to Santa Monica, Venice Beach, Miracle Mile, Century City, and Beverly Hills. We are minutes from Universal Studios.

Other Activities: You'll have to experience Fryman Canyon, a beautiful hike minutes away!

Sweet cottage and gardenias on approach on a pretty street very convenient walk to Taluca Lake coffee shops and other quaint shops. Also near park with one mile jogging loop. Cottage is small but perfect. Enjoyed drinking coffee out on patio. Ellen is a most gracious hostess.

Overall outstanding - I could not have stayed in a better place for 2 weeks for this value. My favorite thing was being in a real neighborhood, very friendly, quiet. The owners are so pleasant and accommodating, they listen and ensure you are satisfied. The cottage is cozy, clean, totally private entry, and has all the essentials. Even your own patio and orange tree! Location is so convenient - 15 mins to downtown Burbank, 20 mins to Pasadena, only about 30 to Venice. The immediate area has all the necessary restaurants, shops, etc. you will need. You can even easily get the subway to downtown LA or even Pasadena for $5 a day!
I highly recommend this cottage and will stay there if I am out there again.

Great apartment to stay for travelers who have access to a car, there is plenty of parking in the street. Close to shops, and a short drive to attractions such as Universal Studios, Hollywood Blvd, Mulholland Dr, and Venice Beach/Santa Monica Pier. The apartment is a granny flat in a backyard, but the owners were very respectful of our privacy and we found it a very quiet and relaxing base to come back to. The apartment was clean, and has all the amenities you would need, including a well equipped kitchen and a washing machine and dryer, which is handy for those traveling for longer periods. Would recommend to those looking for a well priced apartment, that is still close enough to enjoy many of the sites.

This was the perfect rental. Great location and close to main freeways. We came home to visit family and friends and could not have been happier with this cottage. Perfect for two adults with everything we needed. The owners were very nice. We enjoyed having a private patio and bbq for the couple of evenings we did eat there. The bed was very comfortable and the cold bottled water was a nice touch when we got in. Would definitely stay again.

I'm not even sure where to start! Private, comfortable, clean, quiet, and great access to area attractions. Full kitchen saves money, as you don't have to eat all meals out as you would in a hotel. Likewise, the modern washing machine and dryer right in the cottage.
The area is great, the private patio is charming and beautiful, and I've saved the best for last.

The owners are committed to your comfort and satisfaction. They'll accept nothing less and were incredibly accomodating. Very nice people.

This is a real find - there's no reason to throw money away on a hotel when you can have this much more for less money.
