About The Owner

Hi! I'm Hal and my wonderful wife Dianne and I own Atlantic Cabana.

I learned to swim at Atlantic Beach, NC when I was four years old and I have been coming back ever since (over fifty years but don't tell anyone). Atlantic Beach is the ideal beach vacation spot for family and friends. Just look at my activity map for starters.

Dianne and I rented summer vacation homes for over 30 years as we lived out of NC and returned each summer for a family vacation at the beach.

We distinctly understand what the beach renter needs and expects for a memory filled and SIMPLE, LOW LOGISTICS, NO STRESS VACATION.

We LOVED Atlantic Cabana!!!

We just recently returned from our stay at Atlantic Cabana and are already talking about booking it again!! The house was clean, well equipped, and very beautiful!!! We enjoyed walking the boardwalk to sit at the gazebo in the mornings. The pool/pool area are very nice and clean. We tried different beach accesses but enjoyed the access at Fort Macon the best. The owner was wonderful to deal with, returning calls, answering questions, and suggesting possible interests. We received our security deposit back so quickly! We have nothing but good things to say about this vacation rental and will definitely refer it to others! Thanks for a wonderful vacation!!!!!

GREAT FAMILY VACATION

My multi-generational family (60 year-old grandparents, three married daughters & husbands, and an assortment of little children) stayed in this incredible home for a long wonderful weekend. My husband's family was having a family reunion in Beaufort - and we were so happy to find a house big enough for all of our own family on the beach-side of that area. The kitchen was a dream to work in - we hosted a large family dinner for 25 adults the evening we checked into the property. I was very happy and relieved to find the kitchen so well equipped as well as a great grocery store immediately adjacent to the housing area.
Everything was absolutely spotless in the entire house - very comfortable and inviting living areas and bedrooms. The elevator (which we declared off-limits to the children) was very helpful to our 90 year-old mother as well as in transporting the luggage to the bedrooms. And, lastly, I just have to mention how very friendly and welcoming all the local people were. It was just a perfect experience!
