Villa Eau Claire is the nearest occupied villa to the Main Beach at Magen's Bay. A short, ten minute walk through shallow water with sandy bottom and you arrive at the most famous beach in the Virgin Islands, a mile long beach that is a children's paradise. The Main Beach has shopping, a restaurants serving pizza, hamburgers and salad, and a large open air bar. The Beach also supports rentals of sailboats, and other water craft.

The guests who stay at Villa Eau Claire do so because of the access to the waters of the Bay, which lap directly on the property at one of the rate pocket beaches on the Bay. The water access is supported with a large octagonal deck, lighted and equipped with a shower, and a few easy steps to what seems to be a private beach. You can get a swimming pool anywhere; with Eau Claire you get the whole Bay.

Villa Eau Claire is a fully renovated, fenced and gated villa, with beautiful decorations and art. The villa is surrounded by flowers and fruit tree

Little Magen's Beach: Little Magen's Beach, the largest pocket beach on Magen Bay, is one hundred yards to the left, hidden by a rock jetty. It takes three minutes to reach it. Little Magen's is the only beach on St. Thomas where nude bathing is permitted, which has been the source of considerable amusement to our grandchildren.

The Unique Benefits at this Villa: This rental unit was originally developed as our own home. We equipped it with all appliances, and all the bedrooms have Dishnetwork with HBO. We only have rented it for vacation rentals for less than a year, but it has been so successful that we have joined the two bedroom unit to the master bedroom to produce a unit with three large bedrooms and three bathrooms, sleeping six or seven with an airbed or a crib.

Notes: Beachfront; This three bedroom, three bathroom unit has two large decks overseeing the water, outdoor grills, two kitchens, television in each room, and original art on the walls. By far the most important amenity of this property is the pocket beach, with the private deck and shower only for our guests. I treasure the privacy here, which is not common with condos on any island. The house is made of steel reinforced 8 inch thick concrete, and noises just do not pass from one part of the house to another. The entire villa is secluded from the road, gated and fenced, with flowers everywhere in season.

Fabulous House and Unique and Spectacular Setting

STUNNING! Two colleagues and I, who work in the Caribbean,, stayed in this magnificent house overlooking Megan's Bay (one of the top rated bodies of water and beach in the world!) It is one of the very few houses to have steps down to its own beach and, believe me, that is a huge plus!! The house is elegant and the housekeeper is an absolute sweetheart. The owners are good people and easy to deal with. All in all, having travelled all over the world, I will tell you that you will not find a finer place to stay for the money. You will not go wrong!!!
