PRIVATE STUDIO, COZY OUTDOOR FIRE-PIT, STEPS TO BEACH.

This property is only two blocks from The Strand/Pacific Ocean. We walked to restaurants, coffee shops, retail stores, and ice cream shops. The studio was clean and had everything we might need/want, such as extra blankets, band aids, beach towels, shampoo, magazines, etc. The property owner was very helpful in suggesting restaurants and giving directions yet she gave us our privacy. It was hazy and a bit on the cool side, so the fire pit was especially nice.

This was a great little studio. Everything we needed for a week's holiday, and superior to a hotel in our opinion. The owners were hospitable and helpful, the location great for beachlovers, bikers and those without a car. Many great eateries within walking distance.

The property was actually nicer than it looks in the pictures. It is clean, comfortable and very tastfully decorated. It was set up very nicely and we felt very at home there. The bathroom is much larger than it looks in the picture. The kitchen has all the amenities to feel like home. The bed was comfy and there was also a couch, comfy chair, and desk. The homeowners are very nice and helpful. Also, they provided some literature on the area. The generally left us alone unless we sought them out. We had our own entrance and could come and go as we pleased. They gave us some great ideas for things to do. I would definately recommend this to a friend and/or family member. In fact we plan to return in a couple years and hope it is available as we would rent it again. We enjoyed both Hermosa and Mahatten beaches which are both a short walk from the home. Be on the lookout for dolphins while on both peers!! We also loved the sunsets and enjoyed watching the surfers. We enjoyed the food at Cantina Real. There was a fine grocery, Vons nearby and a Whole Foods and Trader Joes also very accessible. The property is very quiet. It is very easy to get to LAX about 15 minute drive. We had a convention in Anaheim and it was only a 40 minute drive to the convention center. We are very glad we stayed in Hermosa and not in Anaheim and will repeat that in the future!! We are a couple and it was perfect for us. We like to be able to cook and not be on a hotels breakfast schedule. Another really cool thing is that you can rent bikes, which are great for touring around on the Strands.
