You are viewing The Pines: 4 bedroom, 2 bath 2100sq. ft.home, sleeps 8, 300 ft. (90 second walk) to the resort’s beach.The lake is a 600 acre spring-fed lake with clear sparkling water, surrounded by pines and hardwoods with islands and peninsulas; great for boating, fishing and swimming. There are 2 docks (1 for boats, 1 for people), a swimming raft, the row boat, paddle boat and kayak are shared by all guests at no charge. Picnic tables, charcoal grills and campfire pits with wood provided. Swing set, hammocks.
About Marian Brady

My husband and I have been married since 1979. We moved to Traverse City in 1980 from the city of Detroit. We have raised our 5 children in this beautiful area. We take great pride in providing a clean/comfortable home for our guests. We are easily available to our guests as our year round home is located next door.

The Pines cottage is located next to our year round home. When it went on the market, we were very excited to be able to purchase it. We had visions of how nice this spacious home with its large yard could easily be incorporated into our small resort. We did much updating and redecorating to make it a comfortable and spacious home away from home for our guests.

What makes this house unique

This home has easy and close access to our small family resort's beach that is only shared by our other 2 smaller cottages. We have 2 docks, 3 kayaks, a fishing boat and a swimming raft for you to use. There is a small uninhabited island that is an easy row if you want to have a fun picnic experience. You also have your own private yard for yard games, campfires and just relaxation. The home's deck looks over the yard and yes, you can get a peek at the lake. The home is spacious and is perfect for mulitple families. Besides the 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, large kitchen with table and chairs, there are two living rooms. Parents with small children love the laundry room with the washer and dryer.

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency (US Dollar) unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

Notes

  • Rates vary depending on season. Please see rate information
  • A deposit of 50% of the rental fee is due within 7 days of the taken reservation. We accept: Personal checks or Money Orders. We accept credit cards (Visa/MasterCard) plus a 3% convenience fee. The balance of the rental fee plus a 6% MI Use tax is due 30 days prior to arrival. Also due at that time is a refundable Damage and Excessive Cleaning Deposit in the amount of $200.00. Property must be left as found. A total refund will be given if no damage, missing items or excessive cleaning needs to be done. Cancellation/Refund policy: refunds for reservations will be given if you give notice 90 days prior to your intended reservation. If cancellation is after 90 days, we will apply above only if we are able to rent cottage to another family as well as a 10% processing fee.
