VILLA SOL MIREYA COSTA RICA LUXURY RENTAL , DRAMATIC OCEAN VIEWS

This property has a $million dollar$ view! Like other reviews, I concur; the road up to the house is steep, so get a 4 wheel drive. We walked down to the beach and into town (Dominical) several times a day so after a week, we had buns of steel! Owner Carlos Moreno and beautiful Prop Manager Yeda (pronounced Jeda) were attentive to our needs and made us feel like owners. After two weeks of entertaining family at the house, we had done and gone everywhere; so we did not rent a car the last 2 weeks and so became close friends with local taxi driver Guiligan. Yeda has his phone #...We only took 900 pictures on this dream vacation! Many are from the Casa Moreno house of the beautiful flora, iguanas and toucans and other animals around the yard. Many more are of the ocean view from the pool and veranda- I can make a 5 minute slideshow of just sunsets!
The town is just up the highway or a 1/2 mile walk down the beach. There are 2 restaurants/bar just down the hill 1/4 mile from the house and the Roca Verde hotel- which has live music. Dominical is a charming small surfer town with many restaurant/bars and some small hotels and 3or4 grocery stores.The best food and hangout is Tortilla Flats right off the beach. Great food, great bar. Lifeguard stand, surfboard/boogie board rentals, surfer/hippie flea market all right there. Best hamburger right down the beach road at The Refuge- a Christian restaurant that has church on Sunday morn. Just off the main entrance into town is a coffee/pastry/ sandwich shop. Also a bookstore, then The Rum Bar- which has DJ and live music. One night a Texas Boogie Blues band played. Around the bend is the Costa Rica Dive and Surf Shop- where Bob and Rich hooked us up with a Snorkel trip to Ballena Bahia at Uvita (20 minutes south). We loaded onto the boat at the "Whale's Tail" beach/sandbar. Bob also got us a scuba/snorkel dive to Cano Island. Tour Guide Extraordinaire Bob drove us to Reptilelandia and a small local waterfall- which of course had a small bar/restaurant. Bob found us a transport van to Manuel Antonio (40 minutes north) Natl. Park- where we hiked of course (everywhere you go is a hike, there are no fat people in Costa Rica) thru rain forest and to a beautiful beach with white-face monkees. Just outside of Park, the beach has restaurants and cabana (including cabana boy) rentals, surf/boogie boards and a much bigger town and shopping area.
