This newly remodeled 1 bedroom/2 bath unit is the ground floor of a quaint split level duplex and is perfect for a couple or small family looking for a great vacation home. It is located just a half a block away from the world famous Windansea beach and takes just 3 minutes to walk from the front door down to the sand!

It comfortably sleeps 3 people with a large king size bed in the bedroom and a deluxe memory foam twin air mattress provided in the living room. The unit boasts a brand new kitchen with all new appliances and new furniture in the bedroom and living room. It also has a private fenced in outdoor patio with tropical landscaping, seating for 4, and a BBQ, making it perfect for evening cookouts! A brand new hot tub (shared with upstairs unit) has also been added to the property.

Complete with wireless internet access, TV and DVD player, this beach cottage has got everything you need for an unforgettable La Jolla vacation.

Cute place in a great location

Cute place in a great location as it is walking distance to a beautiful beach, cafes, bars, restaurants, shopping and the Village is only 10 minutes away. The bed was comfortable and the linens were fresh. The kitchen was well stocked and living area layout was comfortable and very nice for socializing.
We also really enjoyed the private and tropical outdoor area and we took full advantage of the patio seating, BBQ, and hot tub. Also, the management company was very attentive to all of our needs.

We will definitely be back!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

Cute Spot by the Beach

My husband, son and I stayed for a week in July and enjoyed our stay. The greatest asset is the ability to walk to the beach (we went every day and saw every gorgeous sunset). It was fun to watch the amazing surfers at this break. Seabreeze Rentals gave great directions in regards to checking into the house and following up with us the day of arrival and day after to make sure everything was ok. The outdoor patio and barbaque area was nice. So was the TV, internet, spa and washer/dryer.

The down sides: there was no indoor dining table (just a bar mounted to the wall); it is a bottom unit, and I do belive the top unit is a larger rental. We had a pretty large and active family in the upstairs unit so the noise from upstairs was not good. I am not sure if it was just our bad luck or thin floors.
Recommended for:  Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway
Owner's Response: Since receiving this review, we have added a double layer of sound proof drywall to the ceilings to insure a more enjoyable rental experience to all guests.
