Great Location - Downtown Washington DC

we very much enjoyed staying in this apt....our dog was welcomed, and the location was fantastic.it is right in the beautiful historical Shaw district and we felt very secure. Rachel was so nice and very helpful, the apt was clean, modern, SPACIOUS and comfortable and it got lots of natural light . wonderful jacuzzi tub... the bed was very comfortable with high thread count linens and it was great to have a full size kitchen (dining out 3 times a day in DC can get expensive!) we were able to walk to the White House, Logan circle, Dupont, museums etc. Capitol Hill and Georgetown were 5 min cab ride a away....lots of great dining in the neighborhood...yes the dogs were a little noisy on occasion but never at night during sleeping hours..would definitely recommend to friends and family!

My family recently stayed with Rachel at this ground level flat. It was perfect. We have two bullmastiff's (yes, 160lbs. each) and they were more than welcome. We even used her walking services on the days we were not going to be home much. Great walking distance to grocery stores, and a money saver with the full kitchen. The metro was a short walk and the neighborhood was nice and friendly. There was even a small dog park a couple blocks over where you can go to let your dogs run. There were several bus stops in the area, and the pay-per-day parking lot two blocks away worked out well. There were nice touches, fresh fruit, attraction brochures, wi-fi & a dvd player, cold bottles of water in the fridge upon arrival. There were also plenty of fresh lines, towels, toilet paper, etc. The flat was not carpeted - which is perfect when bringing pets, I didn't feel like they were making a big mess when a quick vacuum would clean the floor. We enjoyed our family vacation, and our dogs did too. Thanks Rachel.

The apartment was as the pictures and very clean. It had nice touches of fruit, coffee, bottled water, laundry soap, etc. It is a good location. We walked everywhere. The bed was very comfortable and we loved the jetted bathtub! The downside for us was that it was very noisy with dogs right above your head. You can hear all the barking, running, thumping of tails, etc. The days started early with dogs barking and going outside between 6:30 and 7:00. Sleeping-in wasn't an option. So, if you love dogs or even own them and want to bring them, it's great. If you want to sleep-in and have a quiet vacation, not so much. Nice price though!
